    Edit: Ok, reread it. Maybe not so easy lol. That is for the sunray.
    No. I'm pretty sure the process starts with us making the sun_moonContainer 700 pixels wide so as to match the width of the panoramic walls. At that point the WebKit transform panoramicView Animation will allow for both to move across the screen in sync with each other.

    Then the final hurdle is to make the sun and moon move within this new 700 pixel wide container in the same relationship to sunrise and sunset time but now traveling a larger distance Based on Ian's original formula. It's just math, I think…
    Here to help if I can. If I can't I know someone who can!

    Well the width of the wall is 1029 but I don't think making the container any larger will make a difference. What we need to do (I think) is modify the sun/moon position formula so that the sun moves 1029px over the course of a day instead of 300px.

    Yes. Agreed on the calculation for width. But the sun_moonContainer width also needs to be increased so the sun and moon traveling 1029 pixels doesn't take it outside the boundaries of the container. Am I missing something?

    I think your both right as long as the sun moon container is within the pano container

    Thanks, Chevy. I want to compare notes with Simon.. but in the end I think I may go a slight different direction in that I will always want to be running Pano Walls as its own WB theme.. And just place a config.js variable that will switch true or false "panoramic sun/moon motion". I am working on 4 sets of Panoramic walks by season.

    Ya, you can do that too. I removed the overflow: hidden on the sun/moon container though so if we get the first part right it really won't matter if it moves outside the container. It does make sense to make that change too though.

    Now, trying to wrap my head around that ptranslate math makes me wish I hadn't ditched so many math classes in university lol.

    Think I got it Grant. Find this line in uniawyahoo.js: pTranslate = Math.abs((reversemove-(time_to_change_wall - dayhour)/ DurationOfDay)*320);

    Change to this:
    pTranslate = Math.abs((reversemove-(time_to_change_wall - dayhour)/ DurationOfDay)*1029);

    You should see that ptranslate twice. Change both 320 values to 1029.

    And also make the container width change you talked about.
    Then set the sun_moon_arc to false in the config file. Haven't had a chance to fully test yet, but the sun is now far right of the panoramic wallpaper coming into view near the end of the scroll to the right.

    Great minds think alike!! Dang you beat me to it.. Just found that and tried an hour ago. It worked!! That's it!!! The "320" clued me in as that was the full width of screen .. That HAD to matter..

    You DO need the sun_moonContainer's width set to 1029.. And the Panoramic view WebKit Transform defined and referenced in #sun_moonContainer entry in the CSS.

    All good!!

    The real test will be at or near sunset time if moon snaps to hard left of panorama.. I'll know in an hour in my neck of the woods..
    Here to help if I can. If I can't I know someone who can!
