Me too, Ferlop.. And it's time for me to sport the Dark Auros icon set too. I'd forgotten about that... I usually use the LIGHT setups as most of you know about me. Occasionally I'm into a 'dark setup' but have always been more of a fan of a light grayscale shading look.
Here to help if I can. If I can't I know someone who can!

@Durben or Dacal (or anyone). I figured out how to apply the blur when screen is touched, added it to the different containers and it works, but doesn't seem like my i5 can handle all of it. If I have the slideshow going when I touch screen to bring up weather wall and blur everything behind it phone suffers some serious lag, to the point where the wall to wall transitions just look odd. How did you guys apply the blur to everything without suffering this lag? Or have you only added the blur to a static wallpaper?

Wanted to give a update on the BatteryStatus iWidget Project I am working on with my friend Matchstic

I finally manage to find a fix to a issue that plagues a lot of us concerning "certain" Widgets updating in general.

I found out the problem is with IOS6+ use of the UiWebView cache and is not a update interval issue (setTimeouts, update intervals or Meta refreshes).

When certain Widgets first initializes using jQuery or Ajax calls for info, that info gets stored in a UiWebView cache and later subsequent reads are pulled from the cache and not from the updated info that is called by the Javascripts. That cache is used by IOS6 to speed up your device, but is bad for widgets that need constant updating from jQuery or Ajax calls.

This solution now disables the UiWebView cache per widget with a few simple lines of code in the javascript and forces widgets to read current info from the jQuery or Ajax calls and not from the cache anymore

This solution should in theory work for any widgets that fails to refresh their info from jQuery or Ajax calls now.

So with that being said, my BatteryStats iWidgets currently works across the board for the full range of devices running IOS6+ now.

Here is a pic on my iPad Mini showing the two iWidget versions I will post this weekend.

These widgets are to be used as examples for you to create your own Battery Status display, so modders will be able to use my code to tailor their Battery Displays to their liking. Perhaps implement this into our beloved UniAW

I even made it so the Battery Images being used can be replace by dropping in your Winterboard Themes battery images to match your current winterboard theme because I use IOS's naming scheme.

I really think your gonna like the ease of modding these widgets will provide

The combination of my BatteryStatus code and Matchstic's new Dylib can be used for iWidgets, Lockscreens or Winterboard SB widgets, your only limit now will be your imagination

Look for a release sometime this Weekend!

Ha. I'm sure even with this new piece of information Grant will still be 100% sure of it.

I believe I have always said that I didn't think it was a tweak but because I didn't know I never spoke as emphatically about the matter as him.

What I knew for 100% sure was that it wasn't the widget's code and it wasn't a problem with the MyLocation app. Only two other things it could be:
    1)flaw in iOS itself or
    2) some kind of tweak conflict.

I threw my eggs in the basket of tweak conflict because of deductive reasoning.

How? -- well though I'm thrilled the Drifter has found this problem - an iOS 6 issue would affect every phone. And yet our issue we dealt with with widgets updating didn't affect every phone on iOS6. Durben never experienced any widget update problems at all since iOS6.

The iOS cache issue Drifter refers to, also doesn't explain for me (yet) why a Reset All Settings cleared the problem for most of us - and the updating issue has never reappeared. If an iOS6 cache issue were the smoking gun, the problem would still exist on all phones.

Still for others the problem needed an all Cydia tweaks wipe - and only THEN did the widgets start updating properly - again - most logically pointing to a tweak conflict - since a full Cydia tweak wipe cleared the issue and it didn't return.

So, though thankful for Drifter's discovery - I'm still left with a lot of unanswered questions... and skeptical that this is our smoking gun.

Point your research into how IOS6 uses UiWebView caching and how jQuery and ajax requests are affected by it.

Then you will be able to state your opinion from a educated point of view instead of just guessing and surmising.

You don't need to be a code expert to observe your phone not having any updating issues at the present, bro. If iOS6 use of UiWebView cache is our smoking gun - why weren't/aren't all phones affected then/now? Educate us, bro.

LOL!! Maybe so.. I know I'm in over my head to some degree.. But I'm a student of logic and in the audio/video tech world - I troubleshoot for a living. Something just doesn't add up here.. I'd just like some education about why this smoking gun didn't/doesn't affect more people. When the iOS itself has a flaw (in terms of how it affects our widget's updating) it seems the problem would be more ubiquitous.

And I was more responding to King's wisecrack. .. I'm thrilled about Marcus' find here.
