    Index of /simon/archives you have to direct link to this, it shows in gallery but that's an image only gallery wont show zips..

    I also uploaded my stripped iphone 4 version.. removing all slideshow images, and day and night images. using only fullscreen weather walls. size is 87mb only.

    I got that part, but was curious why I defaulted to to instead of village of watertown.. when I go to watertown or fort drum (1 mile other way) I get proper names.

    not a biggie thought I might have toggles done wrong.

    Making a little condensed iwidget version of UNIAW, shape is rectangular with rounded corners and want everything within this area. Using webkit mask, created a image for the mask. Anyone know if there is one place I can apply this mask so that it works on everything or do I have to apply the mask individually to each container in the main css?

    Look in the uniaw.js for yahoo or accuweather (whichever one you are using). Some of the sizes for the fonts had to be set in there.

    (@Ian, see I knew that info would come in handy lol )

    Unfortunately, with your coords, it pulls Ft Drum, Le Ray, Jefferson & Watertown. If we were to fix you to get a certain one to show when you are home, it might affect when you travel. now if you use your woeid, you get Le Ray.

    To get Calcium, I had to use woeid=2373140 or lat,lon=44.03,-75.85

    Thanks for info,
    I am using Ian's uniAW 6.3 choice. IWidget. I was under the assumption that using a static background with height of 568px I would have some real estate under widget for two rows of icons. I looked through widget HTML and CSS file, also the plist and they were all 568 height. I am comfortable editing these files but I don't see anything that enlarges background to full size of the iPhone screen. I guess this is where my lack of understanding is evident.
    My desire is to have the animations happening over the background selected by settings, and it use only half of screen. Hope this is possible. Rather not use HTML + , or winterboard version.
    I did try to mess with code, don't mind getting my hands dirty and trying things. But running out of thoughts. Also might learn something as well. :-)

    I don't use iWidget so not sure if this will work but try this in the Config.js file;

    var showDock = true;

    Im sure you are referring to the 6.3 (accuweather) version instead of the choice version. I havent made a choice iWidget version yet.

    Please refer to post 6226 of this thread, I addressed some concerns for the next UniAW iWidget version there.

    To fix your issue and to be able to touch your icons, just adjust the widget.plist height value to around 180. That should put the iWidgets touch layer around the Forecast area and not interfere with touching icons below it. For a animations only version it you can make the height around 60, and you should be able to fill your whole page with icons and be able to touch it.

    However, it you set it to these values, you wont be able to open or touch the Magic Daisy to open the popup menu.

    We are still looking for a solution for creating the iWidget version because of these concerns, remember this is still in a beta state and things are not set in stone at the moment

    In the past, I have always had something that interfered with my location changing with all GPS based LS, SB, or SB Widgets. I am happy to report that the Accuweather LS version changes my location. I have not tested the choice version with Yahoo yet. I do not know if it is the new code or using Accuweather that has resolved the issue for me. I assume something Dacal has written that refreshes when you unlock has fixed it for me. My SB widget still uses Yahoo and that rarely changes location without a respring but my LS will have the correct location. My appreciation goes out to Ian, Dacal, King O Hill, Drifter, and anyone else involved in the newest versions.

    I am very much looking forward to the new Native weather King and others have been working on.

    When dealing with the pixel sizes since i4 when you see 568px in the code that actually displays at X2 so 1136px which is the height of the i5 screen. So to make something only show half of the screen you would have to half that 568 again to 284px.
