    Hi,

    Accuweather uses different descriptions from Yahoo, we have to find their conditions list before we can translate all of them.
    I can change the KPH for the final release.
    I can also redo the date so it's separate from the digital clock.

    I put these things on my "to do" list.

    I love UniAw!! Thanks Ian, Dacal.....It's a bit of a shame that when we users tweak an original widget, alot of the newer modmyi members mainly remember the modders name, even after giving credits..."oh, that's so and so's mod!" bugs me....and some don't know dacal, even after their widgets are fixed, Lol Anyway, wanted to share my thoughts!.....Now let me get the hell off my soap box!!....Love my phone.

    It's normal. I have said many times that the translation is not done yet for Accuweather.

    For KPH, probably a mistake in uniAW-.js... .

    For the month/day/... it's the way we have choose. If you want to remove something => CSS (and set display; none; or opacity : 0.0 for each section you want to remove).

    => opacity 0.0 : mask the element but keep the layout.
    => Display: none : remove the element, the layout is reorganized.

    Default Attention Non English persons!!
    We need your help.

    Regarding the weather description translations for AccuWeather, we have 2 options:

    The easy way:
    This will basically take AccuWeathers condition code and tell it to use the relative Yahoo code, so basically it will change all Accuweather descriptions into descriptions from Yahoo, this is easy because we already have the Yahoo translations.

    The hard way.
    I always prefer the hard way LOL... I don't know about you but I quite like seeing the different descriptions that AccuWeather provides, unfortunately if we want to keep these descriptions then we must do a new set of translations just for Accuweather, for me this is the best way, but not easy for us! Google translate is not always accurate and this way takes too long!

    So, attached here is an Excel file (in a zip), it has all the conditions from AccuWeather laid out already, and a column for your translations.

    Please help us to help you, the more languages we get the better but to reach the usual standard we need these:

    Italian
    Finland
    Dutch
    French... Mmm, I don't know anybody that speaks French LOL.(hint hint)
    German
    Spanish
    Chinese... I can get this one (except for "Flurries", how to explain that, I don't even know, i think it's fluffy clouds or something like that? LOL..)
    Russian
    English... I can do this one LOL.

    So no more complaints about the translation, download the attached file, fill in the translations (about 40), zip it up and re-post it here.
    Try not to make any translation exceedingly long (remember it has to fit our screen)

    Thank you.

    PS, if you are an exceptionally good lookin female, please include your phone number, if not, KOH wants it.

    I've searched through the .js and .css and I'm having trouble working out how to disable all animations in the 6.21 iWidget and 6.21WB. Drifter's 6.1 iWidget had the option but I'm stuck on adding that code to 6.21. Can anyone help or point me in the right direction please.

    I know I'm going to get stick for asking for a no animation setting when UNIAW6 looks so amazing. I almost feel ungrateful even mentioning it. My reason is to save a bit of battery juice but still have the text weather data on screen.

    Maybe ?

    if (zip.length > 10) zip = zip.substr(6);
    obj.coordinates = zip;

    But, BTW, i think you must use something else to cut the string at the right place.
