No, not normal, I just tested and all works fine (has sunrays) Did you adjust anything in the css file?

    Reboot-loop - YouTube

It does not happen every time, it took me about 8 goes to replicate this.
If I am the only one with this then don't worry, there is always one who can't get it to work
But if others report this as well then you might have to look into this.

    EDIT
Have not tried the Winterboard version yet, wanted the iWidget one to try an idea I have, but wanted to check first its working OK.
iPod4, iOS 6.1.2, tweaks are Clock Hide, Dim Delay and Gridlock, NO myLocation.txt file, only changed gps to off.
Can you try the winterboard version please? I dont get why it would be doing that, all the iWidget conversion is is taking the var's from the config.js and making a option.plist out of them. There is no changing of any code within the UniAW itself.

If it does it with the Winterboard version too then its not a iWidget sepecific issue, but one with UniAW running in general on your particular device.

I just tried it 20 times, on & off with and without gps, even tried it without internet connection but can't replicate this issue.

Drifter is right, the iWidget doesn't change the code in this particular iWidget, so if it works ok with WB or PP then it has to be something with the iWidget app on your device.

The UniAW6.0 was tested for 2 weeks prior to release, again never saw this issue.

I'm eager to find the cause of this rasp, don't care if it's only on your device or not. Do the other versions work ok for you?

Winterboard LS theme works fine, gps=true & no myLocation.txt file, gps=true & myLocation.txt file, gps=false .... all works without problem, apart from it still does not like my GPS coordinates , always loading never any data, will change them.

    EDIT
Works fine with different GPS coordinates now, maybe the first ones are "blacklisted"

So both the Winterboard version and the iWidget version are working now with the new GPS Coordinates?

    Did it again.
Activated the iWidget version with gps off, opened perfect , no problem.
Then I resprang and as soon as the LS was showing I unlocked and went to the home page where the iWidget is, it was still in the loading process, faded in and reboot!

    EDIT
Yes iWidget with gps on and new GPS coordinates in myLocation.txt works.
Now lets see if I can crash that as well with resprings and fast unlock.

Even if your gps coordinates are no good (I have this issue at home) the widget will use your local code and color the city name red to let you know that it is not a gps location city name.

So if you have an internet connection, you should never see the Loading or internet error, it will display gps weather, if there is a problem with gps coordinates or it doesn't find a myLocation text file then it displays the weather from the locale code.

So when you say it doesn't like your coordinates and doesn't load, there is something not right their.

So i tested again, I edited my "myLocation.txt" file to stupid numbers with some brackets in their too, and the iWidget loads from the locale code, tried it 7 times.

Try this, delete the options.plist from the iWidget version and copy the config.js from the Winterboard version over to the iWidget version. Then respring and pin it again. That will essentially make this straight UniAW6 without the options menu. Remember to edit the config.js to your working location when you copy it over. Respring to removed the cached version in memory.

Another thing to try is to delete the contents of the iWidget version except for the widget.plist and copy the contents of the working Uniaw winterboard version over. That will let me know if something is different in the UniAW6 codes between the WB and the iWidget version.

It always worked fine, Ian. Only occasionally it has one reboot and after that it works fine as normal (with gps on), but if there is no myLocation.txt file and gps set to off it can (not always) happen it goes into the reboot loop like in the video.
I am just glad it is me that has this "odd" behaviour LOL

    @ Drifter/Rasp,

the original Config.js file is still in the Setup folder of the iWidget.

I will try that later, I am still trying to figure out how I can trigger that reboot, there seems to be no fix pattern.
Activation of the iWidget, with and without setting changes, can work many times without a glitch. Even multiple resprings with fast unlock to catch the iWidget in its loading process works many times without any flaws, but then suddenly one time, bang, reboot.
It is annoying not to know why and what triggers it, but as long as nobody else has this, do NOT worry too much about it.
Might be just my iPod, actually my son's iPod, he let me use it for testing (is a good boy)

Debugging can be difficult sometimes, I'm trying to give you many options to try to help sort out your issue.
With it sporadically rebooting tho, thats a real hard issue to try to figure out.

I also tried the iwidget several times following the different scenarios above and do not get the reboot loop. am on iphone 5.

hopefully you will be able to pinpoint what causes your reboot soon.

It's very hard to troubleshoot when you can't see the problem, Rasp is a genius and has lots of experience, I'm sure he will find the source of the issue. I don't think it's the widget or iWidget as many people have downloaded it already, so I would be looking at trying it on another phone (if possible), if it works on the other phone, then start comparing.

Another thing is to remember and make sure you have the latest myLocation app if your on IOS6, (see KOH's signature)

Thanks Drifter and good luck Rasp.

    Time for coffee.

Ok, this is a screen shot when I replace the Options.plist with the config.js

This the screenshot when I replace the complete content (apart from Widget.plist) with the WB theme

    I keep trying LOL
    No reboot so far.

Honestly this is no big problem, I just wanted any gps based iWidget to test my idea, so I though I might as well use Ian's UniAW6.0, but stumbled across this almost funny now behaviour.
Let's say this is due to my iPod4 and leave it at this and hope nobody else has this.

It looks like on the first screenshot that you just replaced the Options.plist with the Config.js in the iWidget root folder. You need to copy the Config.js back into the Setup folder.

That will cause the issue on the first screenshot because it cannot configure itself

    Hi Rasp,

    You don't do this,

I think Drifter meant you to remove the "Options.plist" from the theme altogether, then in the setup folder, remove the "Config.js" file altogether, then re-name the "Config_Original.js" file to "Config.js.
This will give you the iWidget but with no options. (just for testing) but I really don't think this is the issue.!

    EDIT: Drifter beat me again!
