    Same here no luck either with the rainpaine to show up in light rain condition. Maybe needs different code.

    It just looked like you guys didn't add the necessary code (or not all of it) to the showers_cloud js file as well as the css file.

    Thanks so much finally. Could I add the same code to the rain files also in case I messed up there also.

    In the meantime turned that rain gif sideways and added it to the planes mod to see what it would look like. Not bad at all, looks pretty decent, although realistically the rain bands would be much thinner and longer on a plane window. Of course realistically there wouldn't be a windshield wiper either lol.

    The rain files should be set already, they were the ones I did weren't they?
    The only one you probably need to add now to make it complete is thunderstorm.

    Sorry Simon for being a pain in the butt. But can you take a look at the rain files. Maybe I messed up. So all I have to do is add the shower cloud code to the thunderstorm files. Thanks so much.

    in the .css file the zindex is the 3d position you have up down back and forth.. or layer is another way to say it. so if your clock is z index 2 you put the wiper z index 3 and its in front..

    Hi all,

    I've been playing with trying to retrieve weather info from accuweather AND Yahoo at the same time. Not having much luck and been at it most of the night - ready to give up. I was hoping that maybe Ian, Dacal or Durben might be able to have a look. I'm trying to grab ONLY the "real feel" temperature from Accuweather. The plan is of course to eventually try and get the forecast as well but I thought I'd start with something easier (or so I thought). I put the code below into the "function fetchWeatherData (callback, zip) {" section of UniAW6.js - same place as the Yahoo call:

    -------------------
    var url="http://apple.accuweather.com/adcbin/apple/Apple_Weather_Data.asp?zipcode=90210";

    $.get(url, function(data) {

    $(data).find('CurrentConditions').each( function() {

    obj.realFeel = $.trim($(this).find('RealFeel').text());
    });
    });
    ------------------------

    I made #realFeel in CSS and also made the <DIV> in LockBackground.html. The widget works great - everything displays properly EXCEPT the "real feel" temperature from Accuweather. I don't see that at all.

    I've tried to trim down the code to only what is absolutely necessary to get the information. Even put a US zipcode right into the url call as you can see. It's possible I'm completely out of my element here and don't know about many other things that need to be done in the code to get this to work. I tried changing some things around so none of the variables/elements were the same as the Yahoo call (ie: tried "var url2" instead of just "url") but still nothing.

    The reason I think I'm close is because the widget is working! For a while it was totally pooched and wouldn't do a thing. I finally played with the above code enough so that everything works. Just no real feel from Accuweather.

    If one of you have any suggestions, I would really appreciate it. Thanks so much!

    although I fixed it, why is it a difference..
