Haha - nope That's the issue I've been having all morning with it. I've read all about the native weather app updating issues but I guess I had to experience it for myself to see. King and I are still looking at it but I'm now sceptical instead of optimistic

There has to be a dew point for a Real feel to be in the equation under 80F I don't think that happens.. But Marty and King have read the most on this..
Exactly right Grant thank you! King confirmed this but in order to calculate Heat Index when temp is BELOW 27c/80f, you do indeed need the dew point! I totally thought there WAS a dew point included in the yahoo feed and was all excited to do the code for this, then I had another look. No dew point

Yep. Been down that road. Coulda saved you some time. But King has a lot more experience than I - and if he thought there was hope - I usually defer to him. But modders have tried to get NativeWeather to update properly for 2 years. Not happenin'..

Yeah - that was one of the first things I read on Wikipedia. No dewpoint, no calculation for heat index possible under 80F. I'm sure there are other weather services that send dewpoint down the feed. Maybe AccuWeather? .. Don't want to piss King off though.. -devoted yahoo fan that he is

Hey Dacal/Ian. Just had a look at the "UniAW6_workaround.js" that 6.3 is using right now - it looks like ALL info is coming from Accuweather including city and coordinates. Maybe I'm just not seeing the Yahoo call - sorry if that's the case. Can you confirm?

Updated 5/22/2013 -- due to yahoo removing the forecast options, the touch function has been removed. ALSO, this is made to be used WITH the stock clock enabled or you may download the forecast tweak from cydia. Also updated the Walls to the most recent pack and added the heat index code (Cred to Marty and KOH)

This will likely be the last version since the 30 minute timed walls are being added into UniAW (thanks Ian and Dacal)

This will require MYLocation (or set WOEID in config)

    --yes, it is animated
    --yes the GPS is working
--yes it will scale for whatever device you are on. (I4 or i5)

    Also...
    Ian, Marty, KOH and Dacal
    In regards to real feel...
Accuweather has a patented (secret) formula they use to obtain this. It takes into account humidity, cloud cover, precipitation, wind speed and a bunch of other things. See this link for explanation http://www.accuweather.com/en/weathe...alfeel/7198202

While they won't release the formula, it IS however returned in The RSS feed. I would ask that THIS value be used for "feels like" and that we are able to display them BOTH at once in 6.3.( not one or the other)

    Thanks in advance.

So finished the 6.3LS, everything done for iph5 & iph4, too many small changes so I hope Dacal uses this version tonight, please.

Went with the 5 day forecast, I think it's better than the 6 day one.

    I'm off to bed.

Also Ian, a thought. 5 day forecast... Swipe to reveal the days 6-10.
