So, if you just joined us, Yahoo has changed things again and we have now lost the 4 day forecast from them, Dacal has a fix using AppleAccuweatherStolen instead of Yahoo but we are still testing this. If you go back and start reading from page 141 (I think) you will see there is a temporary fix been posted a few times, you can use this for now.

    Thanks.

Please no more PM's about this if possible.

I think the clock is modded off my UniAW clock, well at least the reflective glass, I know because I made it in C4D and I included the .psd in the theme.

Well Ian, I just had to use your clock gloss reflection, sorry....It looks as if a whole bottle of Windex was used to clean it....Just a gorgeous shine!! This frame around the clock is also influenced by your images, I just turned it...Now, I wait for you guys to get UniAw 6.3 finalized so that I can start enjoying the astronaut animations and 30min rotating weather walls

    Very nice Ian.

I do remember ages ago that people either used yahoo or accuweather and accuweather was eventually dumped not sure of the reasoning to this, whether yahoo was just easier or accuweather wasn't so accurate??

Not so accurate is better than none at all if that was the problem.

Can't wait to get this working again.

Hi Gunny, yes I too remember, I'm also not sure why it was dumped, maybe for it's accuracy, but in this new code from Dacal he cleverly gets the location names from Yahoo, everything else comes from accuweather, he is good friend and a smart dude for sure.

    LOL.. Yeah it's glossy

I'm not going to do too much more with 6.3, maybe I will stick to a 5 day forecast and just get it out for you all, after it's released then I can play more relaxed and see what new stuff we can add.

So we went from the inevitability of losing forecast on weather widgets to possibly having a 5 or 6 day forecast.

Ill tell you....the gurus like you Ian, and Dacal and MJ etc the way you put your heads together and find solutions is just amazing. I am looking forward to 6.3 more than ever and I appreciate immensely the time and effort you and everyone else put into this.

    Amazing.

Twice now Yahoo attempted to limit us and because of everyones abilities and the way the community came together I have all my widgets fixed from reading Dacal's fix and others input. And reading about the potential of whats to come has me very excited.

On behalf of myself and anyone frm Modmyi who wants to join me....i say to Yahoo they can kiss my A**

Ill never doubt you guys for a minute.

PS Ian and Dacal: Set up a donation link already will ya?

[QUOTE=NewdestinyX;6877577]Again - because yahoo sucks. Several believe our yahoo weather feed and accuweather are 'identical'. They are not. They never read the same thing. I've been hoping we could get AccuWeather for a long time. They're AWESOME with the suburbs of major cities - unlike the yahoo feed.

So excited that Dacal, Ian, Marty, King and MJ are all SO on top of this. Thanks guys!!! Please don't find a Yahoo solution for forecast.

What about the rest of the world?

The location (city name and coordinates) still comes from Yahoo, but the weather conditions and forecast is from Accuweather.

Default So what do you guys want?
    5 Days or 6?

As you can see I was going with 5 so re-did the forecast background to match, but it's easy to do a 6 day version, I just thought it looked a little busy.

PS, I have an idea with the feels like temperature, I'm trying to get it to show ONLY if it has a different value from the normal temp.
