    In the WinterBoard version - the Forecast and Forecast Background are 'default' set to Hide=true. So that's not gonna be our issue.

    But YOUR fix, Randy, commenting out EVEN DAY '1' stuff.., is the only fix that worked for me. If you leave Day 1 in - it breaks the WB versions of 6.21. That was the issue. Thanks for finding that. YAY!! You don't know how CLAUSTROPHOBIC is was feeling not to have my weather animation and balloons/birds. LOL!! - Now gotta get me some 'heat index'. LOL!

    Did you read Randy's response to you? You still had a /* */ where it shouldn't have been. Redownload the UniAW 6.21_WB version from page 1 of this thread - so you can start fresh. Then follow Randy's instructions precisely. It solved the problem for me, Blik - and you and I are both running 6.21 - I think. If you're working with some other 'mod' of UniAW6 - then I can't speak to that..

    http://www.theweathernetwork.com/wea...ontario/barrie
    Everything I read says heat index starts with temp over 27/80 and humidity over 40. Page above says feels like 30 but temp is only 23?? I don't get it.
    @Marty: I think it should be 75 +. Because a 70 degree day at 85% humidity does NOT feel 75. That's my opinion. Accuweather does a "real feel" temp even below 80. Im looking into seei g what coding they're using for THAT
    See below.

    ALSO... I have some time. Grant and/or anyone else that can't get their mods working, please PM me a zip of The ENTIRE mod you are using so I can get an accurate picture of what I'm looking at. I'll fix it and send it back.

    If its not zipped up, I will not bother. I'm glad to help, but only if you can follow my request. Give me 5 minutes to clear my inbox. As I'm sure I going to regret making this offer very soon.

    I would love to use this but there is probably no point because I just use weather animations only. Thanks for all your hard work. Also thanks to Ian and dacal.

    I downloaded fresh copy from page 1
    UNIAW 6.2_SB_MAX.theme

    And then did the */ comments to comment out the forecast.

    Still only get this.

    Didn't change anything else

    For those who are still having problems getting Dacal's fix to work, perhaps try commenting out each line separately rather than a wholesale attempt at the beginning and end of the block of code you want commented out. I was having the same problem getting things to work, and commenting out each line of code individually is what ended up getting things to work for me.

    As such:

    /* obj.Day2 = request.responseXML.getElementsByTagName("forecast ")[2].getAttribute("day"); */
    /* obj.Day2Hi = request.responseXML.getElementsByTagName("forecast ")[2].getAttribute("high"); */
    /* obj.Day2Lo = request.responseXML.getElementsByTagName("forecast ")[2].getAttribute("low"); */
    /* obj.Day2Code = request.responseXML.getElementsByTagName("forecast ")[2].getAttribute("code"); */

    Kind offer, MJ!! Thanks - but got mine working following Randy's guidelines. The key - for 6.21 WB and some of the other widgets is to comment out beginning with the Day 1 stuff. Not just the Day 2-4 stuff.

    Thanks anyway!!

    This worked for all of the forecast iwidgets and LS widgets I am using. By adding this /* to the beginning and */ to the end like below.

    f (obj.icon == 3200) obj.icon = 48;

    /*obj.Day1 = request.responseXML.getElementsByTagName("forecast ")[1].getAttribute("day");
    obj.Day1Hi = request.responseXML.getElementsByTagName("forecast ")[1].getAttribute("high");
    obj.Day1Lo = request.responseXML.getElementsByTagName("forecast ")[1].getAttribute("low");
    obj.Day1Code = request.responseXML.getElementsByTagName("forecast ")[1].getAttribute("code");

    obj.Day2 = request.responseXML.getElementsByTagName("forecast ")[2].getAttribute("day");
    obj.Day2Hi = request.responseXML.getElementsByTagName("forecast ")[2].getAttribute("high");
    obj.Day2Lo = request.responseXML.getElementsByTagName("forecast ")[2].getAttribute("low");
    obj.Day2Code = request.responseXML.getElementsByTagName("forecast ")[2].getAttribute("code");

    obj.Day3 = request.responseXML.getElementsByTagName("forecast ")[3].getAttribute("day");
    obj.Day3Hi = request.responseXML.getElementsByTagName("forecast ")[3].getAttribute("high");
    obj.Day3Lo = request.responseXML.getElementsByTagName("forecast ")[3].getAttribute("low");
    obj.Day3Code = request.responseXML.getElementsByTagName("forecast ")[3].getAttribute("code");

    obj.Day4 = request.responseXML.getElementsByTagName("forecast ")[4].getAttribute("day");
    obj.Day4Hi = request.responseXML.getElementsByTagName("forecast ")[4].getAttribute("high");
    obj.Day4Lo = request.responseXML.getElementsByTagName("forecast ")[4].getAttribute("low");
    obj.Day4Code = request.responseXML.getElementsByTagName("forecast ")[4].getAttribute("code");*/

    Marty,

    I agree with your assessment of how the "Real Feel" should work. Let yahoo continue to deal with everything under 27/80 and 40%. We can add an option in the config file to change these default values.

    Also when posting code, it is better to wrap it in code tags. It's just like any other tag, open it with the word "code" and close it with "/code". Of course you need to use the appropriate brackets around them - [ ]. So you get this:

    Code:
    Code
    Code

    Code

    Code
    Code
