    Ya, I see. It also worked well in Chevy's lock screen mod. Must be something about UNIAW that just doesn't like that font for whatever reason.

    Just want to clean it up a but more. Still some jagged edges and stuff I can make look a little neater. Hopefully be able to do that today.

    Would be cool if I could get the wallpaper to scroll somehow and the window to shake a little too, not sure how to go about doing that though.

    I figured you would come to share some knowledge on other weather sources. I would like to add a second weather option to this, once my request list gets completed.

    Scroll should be easy. Not sure about shake though, but I'm sure it's possible.

    Still is very basic as it is only weather conditions and temperature you can choose from any of the 3 weather services. Could not be bothered with adding any more (especially as I would to have to add all the customization options to each additional item) as Weather Underground is an almost perfect service - apart from location name, but Google is the best for that.

    Hi all. I've tried playing with the numbers in red but just can't get this. I'd like the aircrafts 'straight line flight-path' to be at a random height on the screen every time instead of the same place. As well, I'd like to have a bit of a pause after each flight across the screen before it appears again. Can someone lend a hand:

    function createCAircraft() {
    var aircraftDiv = document.createElement("div");
    var image = document.createElement("img");
    image.src = "Images/Weather/aircrafts/air"+ randomInteger(1, NUMBER_OF_AIRCRAFT_IMAGES) + ".png";
    aircraftDiv.style.top = pixelValue(randomInteger(-30, 45));
    aircraftDiv.style.left = pixelValue(randomInteger(-10, 0));
    aircraftDiv.style.webkitAnimationName = "fade, float";
    //var fadeAndfloatDuration = durationValue(randomFloat(48, 72));
    var fadeAndfloatDuration = durationValue(randomFloat(3, 4));
    aircraftDiv.style.webkitAnimationDuration = fadeAndfloatDuration + ", " + fadeAndfloatDuration;
    aircraftDiv.appendChild(image);
    return aircraftDiv;
    }

    There is a new (updated) Weather Underground widget for Notification Center. To set it up you have to get a license (free) from Weather Underground and enter that in the settings config.

    In a previous reply, Ian had said to change the TOP number [aircraftDiv.style.top = pixelValue(randomInteger(-30, 45));] to around 200 so items will fly/float lower.

    Best01,
    .zip up your iWidget and upload to dropbox or somewhere and then PM me the link. I'd like to take a look at it for you. Whatever I do to make it work - I'll teach you how to do for yourself next time. I have a 'little' time..My kids are grown and out of the house and my wife loves her horses like I love all this stuff. So I NEVER need to see her..... well.... except 'some' times..

    Not practically speaking, no. Sadly we're all stuck with yahoo - which SUCKS for small towns and suburbs.

    So I should be able to create a scrolling effect with the wallpaper with UNIAW itself?

    What I found is that changing that number only effects behaviour when the LS first activates. What I mean is that if I unlock to SB and lock again...and again...and again, I will indeed see the aircraft at a different height on the screen each time. But if I'm continually looking at the LS (ie: NOT unlocking to SB), the path is at the same spot each time where I'd like it to be different. Does that make sense? Similar to the behaviour of the balloons. If you constantly look at the screen without turning it off, the balloons will continue to animate across the screen, each time, starting at a different entry height on the screen.

    I would also like to add a pause after each flight across the screen.

    Thanks!

    Marty,

    Once the animations start, that's it, the random position is now fixed till you re-spring, your imagining the balloons, the same balloon is always at the same height.

    For flying in a straight line look in the weather conditions css file for the float (or whatever you animation uses)

    @-webkit-keyframes float {
    0% { -webkit-transform: translate(-150px, 0px); }
    100% { -webkit-transform: translate(450px, 0px); }
    }

    "-150px" is the horizontal starting point. "0px" is the vertical starting point.
    "450px" is the horizontal end point. "0px" is the vertical end point.

    To really space the flights apart all you can do really is to make the flight longer e.g.start horizontal maybe -400px and end at maybe 800px like this:

    @-webkit-keyframes float {
    0% { -webkit-transform: translate(-400px, 0px); }
    100% { -webkit-transform: translate(800px, 0px); }
    }

    But then if you do this you also will need to adjust the floatduration in the .js file.

    So to make it fly slightly uphill you would do something like this:

    @-webkit-keyframes float {
    0% { -webkit-transform: translate(-400px, -30px); }
    100% { -webkit-transform: translate(800px, 30px); }
    }

    Sorry I have been absent a little, I have been not too well, docs got me on Anti-Biotics now so hopefully...

    Hey Ian I hope you feel better soon. I love your weather iwidget. Is there anyway to speed up the balloons because I replaced the balloons with some of Marty's birds. I never see balloons where I live only if I go towards the country but birds I see theme all the time. Plus I love birds and ducks. Can you please help me out. Thanks very much. I am using your iWidget.
