From my understanding - dev status isn't granted everyone. There's still "user level" - which just requires the UDID to be registered with GC.
Here to help if I can. If I can't I know someone who can!

You must have purchased and activated NGUI to get packages from the repo

So I need to purchase the NGUI from modmyi before the packages show up in the repo?

Im loving this UI but i have a few questions
My ipod(5th gen) seems rather laggy and regularly freezes when opening the multitask screen thing
    Even after a respring I usally have less than 20mb of memory(according to satusmodifier) {is this a normal amount of ram for this theme?}
I am using the Em1tt3er theme so it might be from that
I also have very few tweaks installed...only nitrous, winterboard with Neurotech7, F.lux, Nitrous, ifile, icleaner and cleaner. icon tool, Eclipse Cctoggless, Bytafont, Bitesms, and swipeselection
these all seem like low load tweaks to me
    Any ideas from anyone?

On a side note, I am having difficulty changing colors in the Praxis theme
I change and save the colors and then either respring or use Load Colors but the colors never change

I found even disabling tweaks on my iPhone 4 still slows it down, but I can only imagine that neurotech is a very heavy theme compared to standard ios graphics and combined with NGUI could be causing a lot of memory to be siphoned into the display

Memory being siphoned, I like that terminology!

I disabled winterboard which gave me about 8 mb of memory then i just went and completely uninstalled winterboard and it gave me about 15 mb
I'm usually around 30mb right now so its better

I also found that the Praxis theme takes more memory than the Em1tt3r theme does. The only thing i can think of that would cause this is the spinning iTouch ring in the middle......but it is usually less than 9mb(ish) so i guess its not much of a difference. Just thought it was interesting

What tweak can you download that shows ram usage in real time of individual tweaks?

I wish I knew of a tweak that showed ram of each individual process....but I don't

    I just use StatusModifier
It just shows the amount of free ram you have

There is CCPinfo. It is in your CC and let's you configure what you see, update interval and CC configuration.

However, to free up ram, you need a good app and there are plenty out there. I'm using Battery Doctor (The Chinese one) and it is fine for me. Not sure it's available in the us store anymore, though.

That CCPinfo really helps me think
I forgot there is "free" memory and "inactive" memory
The StatusModifier only shows free memory which is normally very low
The CCPinfo shows inactive also so it says my RAM is around 90mb
    Gosh, I feel dumb

    Thanks for all the help!

Just bought the theme, it is amazing

But why every time I use the search function and click on an app, the usual icons will pop out?

    Is that a bug?

Usual? As in unthemed? It depends on the app you are picking. Not all of them are themed, They are behind a mask layer (circle) but that's it. If you can get a screen cap, we could better help.

    I have a question........
How does the theme communicate with your server so that we can't use it unless on wifi/data?
Does it ping the server every few minutes? Or is it constantly communicating?
Seems like maybe it should only connect to the server once a day so that we can use it when not on wifi and it still keeps pirates away(no idea if this is possible/just a thought)

Looks like you have another theme/tweak running. Turn off all themes and springboard tweaks (infiniboard, infinidock, etc) as NGUI is independent of springboard, per se, And can cause instability/conflicts.

Only upon initialization of the theme, reboot or respring. It's part of the anti piracy logic built in.

I wanted to share this here because it becames very much to ngui

1-install groovylock and lock screen tool from cydia
2-hide date and time with lock screen tool
    3-extract CLSHud into /library/grovylock
4-enable and choose CLSHud with groovylock

This lock screen is animated and free, thanks to conceptls

Only the betas actually need verifying on launch, Cydia releases only require a single check when you first run it. This just gives me a remote switch to kill all betas or unstable versions. Have to apologise for all the delays lately, I've got a fair few emailed flagged to deal with just having some personal issues at the moment, will get round to it all as soon as possible
