Yeah a respring is needed, I don't think that you can respring from PreferenceLoader the old ways though

Well that's an extra tap away. It didn't bother me having the toggle as accessible as the airplane mode toggle in the settings pane.

It really bothered me to have that one toggle in the middle of all the apps that have a separate page. Looks a lot cleaner and aligns itself better with iOS.

Also, groovycarrot will probably add all sorts of complex, amazing, innovative awesome features that can be toggled in settings.

Haha this guy gets it. We'll see how much time I can devote to this but I'm excited to start integrating into the new OS. Sadly though the animation controller has been modified quite heavily so I'm hoping it's not too hard to get this a bit more seamless

Might post a video tomorrow of what I've got working - pretty much everything apart from animations, I'm going to drop the lock screen - it was crap anyway

Thanks dude! And no to be honest my number one suspect is UIKit Tools, unfortunately a Cydia dependency so the only way for me to find out is to uninstall Cydia - I may well give it a try but as John said it could have been since we ran free.sh to reorganise the filesystem, or possibly it's that reorganisation that's allowed UIKit Tools to come and break something?

Who knows really, Saurik has got a git of UIKit Tools so I might invest some time trying to rebuild it and update the package to find the bug, assuming it even is this package that's causing it. My reason for suspecting this package comes down to the crash logs for all the apps includes this particular line of code in UIKit and always for the same reason (SIGTRAP)

    Code:
    Hardware Model: iPhone3,1
    Process: MobileMail [37099]
    Path: /Applications/MobileMail.app/MobileMail
    Identifier: com.apple.mobilemail
    Version: 53 (1.0.0)
    Code Type: ARM (Native)
    Parent Process: launchd [1]

    Syslog:
[app] exited abnormally with signal 5: Trace/BPT trap: 5
Seems to me like UIKit Tools is modifying part of the new UIKit and iOS7 just doesn't like it, it doesn't use MobileSubstrate I don't think though; so I'd be unfamilar with how it is doing it

Just to throw my observations in here, looking at the syslog it seems like there's a sandbox issue going on; I'm getting the same crashes with this
    Code:
    sandboxd[73] <Notice>: MobileMail(98034) deny file-read-data /private/var/stash/Applications.nW1PTv/MobileMail.app
being thrown before the crash. Might be new sandbox profiles in iOS 7 for these crashing apps which aren't being patched, just a thought.

Great to have a second opinion and it could well be dude, I just uninstalled SandCastle 2 thinking that may have something to do with it since it does modify sandbox - resprung and the apps still crash but maybe a reboot is needed to give it a kick so I'll find out later?

We've been chatting this one over for a few days now and we're pretty sure that after jailbreak the apps still worked so I'm pretty sure it has something to do with running Cydia

Just like to thank every for their support with this project and since it's Christmas and iOS 7 jailbreak isn't stable yet, for those who have stayed on iOS 6 NGUI has been dropped to just $1 on Cydia until the next jailbreak is public Otherwise feel free to buy now if you want and it'll be waiting for you when you can jailbreak 7

    Merry Christmas guys
