Thanks mate. There's no ETA on release, but keep your eye out this weekend, as I may have something to share. I'm pretty confident that its nearly "runnable" as it is. I've not themed anywhere near the amount I'd like to, but what I have themed doesn't look out of place, because most surrounding elements are skinned. I'd like to do the calculator and LS pass code, but those can come over the following weeks. The status bar elements have been requested once or twice, so I'd rather not keep you waiting too much longer. Thank you.

Yeah, it's ready for an early release !
Things can be added later no problem, it looks very good as it is.

2 sets of sync animations done and fine tuned. There's a little issue with the gradient when resizing, so I had to nudge a coupe of degrees here and there. I'm just about to test the new switches that MacinMac suggested. So hopefully they look ok. Here's the sync images lined up, and looking pretty smooth on the animation end. It's probably not to everyone's taste, but its simple, and does the job.

@macinmac: Is there any chance you can please copy those mobilephone.app images off your device using iFunbox? The images are encrypted and won't open in photoshop. They're also all blank, so I can't get an accurate template made. Thank you.

Hello. I hope everyone's enjoying their weekend. I'm definitely in need of some sleep tonight, but I managed to work through the day, and made a fair bit of progress. I've updated the Beta link to version 0.2.5. It might not seem like I got anywhere, but it's the details that count There's a full changelog in the Beta, and this one particularly adds quite a few more images. Included is the requested alternate switches, and a few new images. Here's a little look at how the status bar sync animations look (without the animation)... and my setup today. As soon as I get word back from Alfroggy and Macinmac, that everything is working as it should, then It's time to share. I must note that this is NOT iPhone5 compatible as yet, but some elements should work.
Even though this will be a public Beta, I still ask that you don't redistribute any of these images as your own work. I won't begin to tell you the length of effort I put into some of these images, because it'd bore you, and you'd never believe me unless you saw the desktop captures or behind the scenes (Alfroggy thinks I'm crazy)
It's not perfect, or anything groundbreaking, but I can promise you it's unique, in it's own way. A fair bit of communication between myself, Vic, Alfroggy, macinmac, and a few others has motivated me step outside my comfort zone, and create some things that I didn't think would work. Thank you.

Thank you heaps for this Sk37cH.

This UI, is indeed unique, and looks really great ! The match with the icons theme is perfect too !

Very sharp details, balance of bright and dark, matte, grainy textures, all concur into achieving a very thorough clean look. It's a fresh start for any device running WinterBoard. In fact it doesn't even NEED to be setup as a regular WinterBoard theme : the images are designed to be the same dimensions as iOS, so complicating artwork and hardcore theming is also to envisage for those themers not wanting the easy way.

    Hello everyone.
First of all the folder as you asked: MobilePhone from iFunBox.

As Alfroggy said it's a full go for me too. As long as the sync have been lowered as we agree I too don't see any problem with it.
It's very smooth, till now the elements from the UI go together, I noticed no lag in any way, even more, seeing your schematics/details really impressed like almost NO ONE here on this forum.
I am very and I repeat very pleased using your work not just from the look of it, colour or something else... I think that Apple themselves would do the same thing if they were free to themes our iPhones, so there should be no mistake at all.

You're welcome. It's been a pleasure so far, and more to come hopefully. The UI has for the most part followed the iOS file dimensions. I have a separate package with default sized Nav Bars, that does recompile without errors. When I've finished all the shared artwork images I'll release that version, but it's a couple of hundred images short atm Thank you.

I'm going to make a start on the iP5 dialer today, so hopefully I'll have something for you to test soon. The sync image (as shown in my last screen), seems to be aligned pretty well now. Thank you for your support, and such kind words.

    OK.... so here it is
Even though this is free, I ask for your understanding. Every image has been created from a blank canvas, so please don't share or re-post any parts of this package as your own work, and without first contacting me. Thank you.

    4 You[i][0.2.5]
1.) You'll need iFile or some method of SSH, and Winterboard already installed.
    2.) Download "4 You[i].zip" from HERE.
    3.) Transfer and un-archive (unzip) to, var/stash/Themes/
    4.) Apply "4 You[i]" in Winterboard, and re-spring.

EDIT: Sorry Alfroggy and Macinmac. I was that tired last night I packaged up the new version, but it's sitting on my desktop I could have sworn I uploaded it lol. Thank you.

You have an Info.plist in the 4 You[i].theme..this is the part that modifies the time in status bar:

    <key>TimeStyle</key>
    <string>font-weight: bold; font-size: 12px; color: rgba(178, 178, 178, 1); text-shadow: #000000 0px 1px 1px 0.7; margin-top: 1px;</string>

Or, just remove the .plist file and respring.

Just re-name, or delete the .plist in the main directory of the theme. All I mod is that for now, so deleting it will only effect the time Thank you.

EDIT: hehehe. Great timing. I forgot to mention, I think the .plist is cache based, so to be sure, deselect then re-select the theme in WB, so it clears the cache

I've been working my way through the images slowly. Still much more I hope to bring. Thank you for your support.

For those wondering about the blue gradient on the tabs down the bottom. There's an issue with a cache file regarding a few of them, like the "keypad" tab at the bottom of the phone app. There's a fix by Jato_BZ HERE. Winterboard needs an update to add these cache files to the re-spring cleanup.

Off topic: Sorry guys just wanted to let everybody in know just in case any of you have the same problem I had last night. I install a tweak last night and got my phone on safe mode, delete the tweak and nothing, install crashReporter and it says the problem could be two other tweaks delete both and still nothing. Delete everything one by one and still on safe mode. So I decided to delete (Substratre Sabe Mode) which delete everything from cydia after that reboot my phone and my phone was like new. Install all my stuff again and good to go. I hope this help in case somebody have the same problem and don't want to restore and loose they jailbreak. Again sorry I'm of topic but I hope this help just in case.

    Default iPhone5 Support
Hello again. I've been working with macinmac, to try my best to bring some of the UI elements to the iP5. I make almost everything through trial and error, and by looking at the interface in my hand, to get ideas of what I want it to look like, and how images are being displayed (location, stretch, press feedback etc.). Now obviously this method has it's restrictions when it comes to a device I've never seen, hence why it's going to take some time, and a lot of work also from macinmac. I've seen some very ugly, and sometimes funny versions of what I originally had in mind, and often no one else see's these, as I'm quick to change them before I ask anyone to test. Alfroogy got to see some of this mess, as I knew we could laugh over the fact that the first trial and error can sometimes be mostly error, and not much trial
So basically, I'd like to thank macinmac for the absolute hell he's about endure should he choose to continue testing these iP5 packages. Here's what he's had endure so far.

Test 1: No images displayed at all, and I forgot to convert them to 8bit colour.

Test 2: Images displayed. I got a screen back from macinmac, and instantly noticed the LCD image was being stretched. This was caused because I imported the wrong LCD image into my PSD to make the template. I would have noticed this HUGE difference had I ever seen an iP5 dial pad Also the strings aren't working from the main UI package. The strings are exactly the same from what I can tell, and If you're running this as an add-on package, I see no reason why the strings aren't being pulled from the original mobilephone bundle in my main UI? So this is going to take some trial and error in this area.

Test3: Roughly 3am, so I made the images again this morning, and I'll wait for another screen shot

@macinmac: The test has been updated. Thank you for all your help.

Well thank you for your kind words, and believe me, that's no trouble at all.
I still had to add 2 invisible images (call glyphs big & small) and for now it seems quite perfect to me...

The files are: callGlyph_large-568h@2x~iphone.png and callGlyph_small-568h@2x~iphone.png
They were not there, I had to add them to have the look as the SS above.
