And not sure if I said already but holy crap, Phatmartino is a keyboard pimp! This is one of the nicest keyboards I've had on my phone.

That wintery scene of the road and snow is from a TimedWall SB widget by "Jahreszeiten" - you'll need to search for it. The Wall changes every hour of the day. It's from his/her WINTER walls.

I guess so. But if they were really anywhere close - one of them would have posted a YouTube vid of the untether on their phone. From untether on on deb phone to public release, last time, took over a month. So we're still quite a ways away.

My only knock against Summerboard is it doesn't convert the themed icons to other tweaks/apps like lockinfo, notification center, and intelliscreenX. You'll only get the main icon and any other use of the app will show stock icon

Yeah. This is what I now want. I want all places the icon for that particular app appears to be themed. The Summerboard method doesn't allow for that.

The lag for me always comes from switching pages. I personally try not to use summerboard unless its required for a 3d AppStore icon like in boss.

Or in many of BlueMetal's themes that rely on 3D. You need Summerboard for them. But my page to page speed has DEFINITELY increased with Summerboard off. The only variable that's changed for me is Summerboard off. So I know it's nothing else.

We have always agreed on this big Rum. I experience no lag. And I'm one of those anal guys that constantly clears processes etc. if I noticed even a tiny speed difference I would use bundle method.

For me a mild difference - but one none the less.

The one clear overwhelming advantage is I can use any icon set from any theme at any given moment in 10 seconds. I actually even pull the bundled icons out and put them in my icons folder. So if I wanna use my Boss or MIOS icons I simply grab my icons folder from that theme and paste it in whatever I'm using.

Pinoy, I know you know this, but you can do the exact same thing with the Bundles/Folder method as long as you're working with a separate theme folder for 'customized icons'. I'm able to use any icon set with any theme too using bundles method. So that's not unique to the Summerboard method. Though i will agree the Summerboard method is WAAY faster - and what I've used since I began modding. So I'm with ya on the advantages for sure!

Maybe I'm just looking for slowdown when I activate summerboard so when I see any slow down I immediately attribute it to summerboard. For me it's noticeable mainly when I have a wallpaper widget running and summerboard. I'm very anal as well when it comes to performance so it might just be in my head. Always happy to hear about people that have a different experience because it makes me look into what unnecessary tweaks I have on my phone that could be causing the slight lag.

It's not in your head, Krima - nor is it from another tweak. Summerboard off gives slightly better performance. I could demonstrate it with a YouTube video if I have the time.

Im in the same boat. I changed two icons of my own. About as far as I've gone.
Too much widget making. Doing things for a few people and also a few themes.
I need to focus lol
