The overlay is ip5 ready. The weather pic is what I wanted to fit in the overlay. I've been messing with the GPS HTML and wallpaper HTML but couldn't figure it out so wanted to see if anyone couldn't offer any constructive assistance. Thanks anyway.

Try editing the TimedBG.html, the weather pics are sized and positioned here

Edit the position and size values for the img.

I'm just trying to get some understanding of this stuff as I'm sure everyone was a noob like me at some point.

Hey bud, just wanted to offer you a tidbit of how I started learning this stuff. Make a copy of the whole SB widget. Then just go in and play around with the CSS and HTML files in the copy. If you screw something up, no biggie, it's just the copy. Also, if you change some values in the CSS file or HTML, you can use iFile's "Web Viewer" option when you click on the HTML file to see how it will display on your phone. Sometimes that's easier than respringing after every little change. Hope that helps you out some.

Unfortunay this widget doesn't have that folder. Thanks for the assistance though now I know I can do that with ones that have it

That's what I was trying to do but couldn't figure out how to change the damn weather pic. Good to know the web viewer. The re springs were a bit*h. Lol

Quick question...

I have a lockscreen.html file i'm trying to edit.
I switched out one for another and everything is good except it seems the image is "shrinking to fit an i4. I made the image myself for the i5 and the image fits the screen when i use other lockscreen.html's.
Is there a line i can edit to make my image fit my screen while using the html file i want to use? Thanks.

Wrong again, all he wanted was to make the weather images display properly in the overlay. That has nothing to do with re-writing code, adjusting it yes, re-writing it, no. Read stuff first before you put out bad info.

Like Gunny said, it's really no big deal, as the images are big enough they are just being cut off.

Per usual you took something simple and turned it into a major task.

Well it's you who need to get over 'your-self', bro. But that's for the great debate.. LOL!! I didn't know the overlay was ready for iP5 - my mistake. It seemed like that was the main issue. Stretching the weather pics is also no small task - but as you're saying - it doesn't require PhotoShop.
