Hey Nate & Eric I'm using an overlay for the ip5 but the weather images are not fitting the opening. I need to stretch them out to fit the opening. Now it does not fit it. The original widget was for a 4s. I tried adjusting some numbers in the wallpaper HTML but its not working. Is there a line in the code that references what the weather icon has to veto fit the opening. I hope this makes sense. Thanks guys for your assistance

MyLocation App update for 5.1.1 - 6.1.2 from bushe! Incase you are having problems, this app is working fine. You may need an updated location.js file. If it has been updated, and still not updating go to settings/general/reset and reset all settings, this will not affect your JB!

The guy was referring to the center overlay - which is a fixed size. Changing a simple number in the css will stretch it, King. That's coding 101. Even I know that. YOU ALL taught me it.. LOL!!!!! Now if I misunderstood what the poster needed - that's a different issue. But get off your high horse dude. Or you'll eventually get knocked off.

Stretching the Overlay in code definitely isn't the most recommended way yep.

THanks, Alfroggy. As I said - if I understood the poster's request - and I'm pretty sure I did - it's a substantive rewrite - in the sense that a noob general doesn't know how to redo an overlay in PhotoShop and can't get it done without someone's help.
But there's a discredit campaign against me in several threads happening. Thanks for the vote of confidence.

First off, let me start with, I'm not attacking you. But, do you ever wonder WHY you have such a "following"? I have never seen anyone else elicit the same kind of responses that you do on a pretty consistent basis. Back to your first response to Best's request, you called it a "major rewrite" as if it's impossible. Give me the overlay PSD and 5 minutes and I'll have that thing i5 ready. Now, if he wanted to learn, I would've said pm me, I'll make you a new overlay, but you should try to learn how to adjust the rest yourself as it will help you in the future. I think it's not so much what you write, but HOW you write it that gets the responses that you have. Maybe a little self-reflection would be a good thing. Take that how you want, this is the first time I've spoken up about this, and I just wanted you to possibly see how it appears to others.

Wrong again, all he wanted was to make the weather images display properly in the overlay. That has nothing to do with re-writing code, adjusting it yes, re-writing it, no. Read stuff first before you put out bad info.
Like Gunny said, it's really no big deal, as the images are big enough they are just being cut off.
Per usual you took something simple and turned it into a major task.
Now, I need some help getting back on my horse!

The overlay is ip5 ready. The weather pic is what I wanted to fit in the overlay. I've been messing with the GPS HTML and wallpaper HTML but couldn't figure it out so wanted to see if anyone couldn't offer any constructive assistance. Thanks anyway.
You're 100% correct king. Thanks I didn't expect anyone to do it for me as gunny so kindly offered. I would like to have some knowledge on how to do it, again as gunny so kindly offered to tell me. I'm just trying to get some understanding of this stuff as I'm sure everyone was a noob like me at some point.Last edited by Best01; 02-26-2013 at 09:47 AM.
