Sad to say there's no such thing as Free PhotoShop. The free app in Apple Store is an AddOn to the full priced real PhotoShop. The thing from Apple store won't work without full PS. .

If there were a free PS app out there MANY more of us would be freelancing it! PS is a 'rich kid's' software. Or for someone who's in the graphics line of work getting paid for what they make.

Runs about $700 US.

PS is quite pricey I agree. However there is way to purchase a fully licenced CS6 version for a lot less. About £195. If you think that's good and genuinely want to know where and how to buy it, drop me a PM.

But......

Auros is crashing my phone or should I say Auros is conflicting with something maybe???????

I persisted for almost a week with most crashes happening in the evening. I removed apps, I removed tweaks, used sbsettings to suspend just about everything at some stage during the trouble shooting effort. I should mention that my version of Auros is paid so no piracy issues there. I removed Auros from winterboard/cydia and the crash went away. A week later I put Auros back on the phone and the crashes started straight away.
I have crash reporter but do not understand anything it is telling me The crashed thread is either thread 0 or thread 1.

Has anyone else experienced this problem with a theme conflicting or causing the crash?

Yes, happened to me on a few key apps I use. I figured it to be the default loading images. The way to fix it is quite straight forward. When an app crashes, use I file to locate that app's bundle and then delete the default.png file. (Might be default@2x, I'm not on my phone so can't check). Respring once you've deleted. Then run iwipecache for good measure.

Now I've done this, it's all good.

Edit. Went and got my phone to check. It's default@2x. Look for them in the Bundles folder of Auros 01 base theme.

hey peeps, the cube in a screenie i showed previously still doesn't wanna play nice, but i'll get there eventually with it ..
in the meantime, i've re-styled another cube for auros..

i've re-done this cube a few times now but for anyone who hasn't seen/used a previous version, here's the deal: it's got a slideshow on two of four sides(just has random pics i found online now, but easy enough to change to whatever you want), weather widget on another, and clock/date on the last side..

as always i've gotta give a big thanks to schnedi and bombmom for the different parts of the original code i started with..and also to Rick(aka Jazz) for giving me the idea to make the cube flicker and disappear to reveal a background image--i reckon it makes the whole thing look better and it's also made me have to spend more time fine-tuning backgrounds etc

any probs or questions, just ask..and dont forget to keep this thread rollin peeps!

I'm sorry sir. But not to be rude. If u go to the app store u will find photoshop completely free. Don't know what or where u been. Ur it's been free for years my friend. Again not to rain on your parade but open you're eyes

But now that I downloaded for myself, again, I see it's an introductory version of Photoshop like we used to get back in the day with Outlook Express and Microsoft Word when they would preinstall watered down versions of the software to get you interested in buying the real thing. You have about one 20th of the capability with that free one as the people do here who are making these beautiful icons. I absolutely assure you do not get "real" Photoshop for free anywhere unless you're "borrowing" a pirated version.
