Sadly not possible, well is possible, but then swipes won't work any more. Tried a darker wallpaper for an "after sunset time" wallpaper, and that also disabled all swipe functions.
The idea was that Auros is based on the principle of simplicity and aesthetic look, that's why I did not wanted the lockscreen loaded with tons of infos, hence the use of swipes to access any of them.
In my eyes adding a slideshow into the "plain" wallpaper would defeat the object, if you know what I mean.
However it would be possible to add another swipe function for a slideshow.

Can we cut out the back panel and then use wallpaperjpegifier to display a user pick from the camera roll/wallpaper?

It would give the opportunity to allow a simple customization

For those having installation problems it's due to permissions. You must set read and execute on the hole directory or use this one instead :

Just to share for those still having problems after changing permissions still doesn't work.
I changed the ownership of Auros folder to "Mobile" from "Root". Its works !!

Yes the update is just an addon as it contains 5 files.

Just put these files int the original directory (fixed) and overwrite the existing ones.

When I'll something ok I'll share a complete 1.0
