    Chevy,
Will you update your widgets with the new code to make the GPS work again?

So although GPS weather is working again (thank goodness ), the widget doesn't seem to automatically update with new city/weather information on the fly as one is travelling? Has anyone had experience with this? I have to respring in the new location in order for the widget to update

I know it seems to be a fairly common issue with MANY GPS weather widgets. It's been discussed in the UniAW5.0 & UniAW6.0 threads as well as the GPS Based HTML Lockscreen thread in detail and although I haven't seen a resolution, people seem to think it's related to the setTimeout function having problems in IOS6.

    Any thoughts?

    EDIT: Problem solved: UniAW6.0 for iph4 & iph5

Hey Chevy. Thanks for the reply pal. Man do I LOVE your widgets....(wow that could be taken the wrong way pretty easily - lol).

These are the ones I used regularly.
    cmc.ultimate.ls
    cmc.ultimate.sb.v2
    cmc_ultimate_sb_bottom

I've replaced the location.js file in all 3 of the above with Drifters newest one from the Uniaw6.0 thread. That brought the GPS weather back but no automatic updates when I enter a new city - I have to respring first.

Hope this helps and thanks so much again for the quick reply man!

Chevy! Don't touch a thing. Problem completely solved by replacing location.js with Drifters and a general reset (who knew): UniAW6.0 for iph4 & iph5

    Hi,

Use your LS weather all the time and love it as well. Drifter's location.js does work but the "neighborhood = true" fix is inaccurate for me. I've tried setting neighborhood to "false" which, interestingly, works as well but still uses the neighborhood location. Here's hoping there will be a fix. Thanks!

Hey Chevy - just wanted to confirm you saw my edit above. All is working great here so no need to update anything (as far as I can tell). It was a two part fix for me...

    1) Replace location.js with Drifters copy on the UniAW6.0 thread: UniAW6.0 for iph4 & iph5
    2) RESET ALL SETTINGS: UniAW6.0 for iph4 & iph5

Thank you for the quick replies and offer to help. I'm all great on this end with AMAZING LS and SB true GPS weather that updates on the fly! Couldn't be happier!

That may be the drawback with the newer way to obtain GPS. Honestly haven't been following to close the details of it all.
