I solved it! enough simply power cycle the phone, I had tried restarting it but I had to turn it off .... thanks again!

I'm using the ultimatetouch auros iwidget. Can't find where to change location. When setting up the widget it says to look in the Config file, but there isn't one that i can find. Any suggestions?

And no need for apologies. You're more than a big help around here and the widget wouldn't be on my phone if not for you. Errors happen.

edit : wanted to edit my post to say, i really should have searched the file myself (in it's entirety) to see if i could find where and what to edit as well, before posting. Thanks again.

I'm still having trouble with my widget updating. The temp is updating timely but not the local. I've not been in Eva for 4 or 5 hours now.

Yes, sig change only.

If you go to var/mobile/documents is there a myLocation.txt file in there? If you open that file, do you see any numbers in there?

I've had a couple of people open this file, then it was working. No idea why though.

I have been have the same problem yesterday also, temp updating but not location.

Hey Chevy and crew...I found a conflict with iwidget (at least it was for me) you might be interested in. It doesn't play with infiniboard. That may have caused some of the problems I was having...tomorrows test will answer that. Also my battery drained to 0 in 10 hours. That's not ever happened to me before. With infiniboard installed iwidgets would not even come up at all to install a widget.
