Weather Widgets No Setup or location tweaks needed #bAdGB
Think of this. An iWidget, Lockscreen, or Wallpaper weather widget. That you never have to configure your zip code. You just install and it works. No extra tweaks needed.
Android does this right?
Well i'm glad to say, I have also made this work.
Here is the widget. Click the link and you will see it now has your current location.

This will be a free widget, if you would like to donate It is greatly appreciated.
You are free to use the scripts in your codes. If used in a paid product please mention JunesiPhone. Otherwise enjoy. This is groundbreaking in my eyes.
Also I added a script I used in another lock screen. It will allow you to move the picture icon wherever you want on the lock screen.

Wanna say thanks, buy me a beer?
ISSUES: Not showing weather.
Go to Settings/Safari/Advanced/Website Data Then press remove all website data.
If you are using a gps widget with my location. You can convert it pretty easily..
First you will want to remove whatever function is coded to call Latitude and Longitude from the text file MyLocation saves. Then add this script
<script src="http://www.google.com/jsapi" language="javascript"></script>
<script language="javascript">
if (google.loader.ClientLocation != null) {
var latitude = google.loader.ClientLocation.latitude;
var longitude = google.loader.ClientLocation.longitude;
} else {
}
</script>Last edited by June'sIphone; 10-26-2012 at 10:50 PM.

I'm seriously losing my mind with no jail break. After 2 years of a jail broken phone I'm lost with out my themes. I really miss it I knew I would have to wait when I got my 5 but crap. Has anyone messed with android stuff. With all this talk now of illegal to jail break iPads. Do you think devs are gonna stop working on jail breaks. I know it will take a while but getting jealous of a couple of my buddies with s3's. it's very tempting. I've heard people say that android is buggy and it does seem a little more complicated but I'm really tired of this stock iPhone when all this sweetness of themes and stuff is coming out. Sorry to off topic the thread but has anyone made a move to android before. And by the way sweet widget bro. This is exactly why I want my jail break. Lol

I have an s3 as well that's rooted. I mess with it sometimes but it does get complicated. And it's easier to end up with a brick. They are definitely buggy. Screens still suck in my opinion. I don't even use it out of my house because it's not nearly as reliable. Worst part for me is they are all plastic. I'm always afraid of breaking it. My advice, hang in there.

You're a P I M P June!
Just had a look, pretty cool. Played with this weather for my pc before. It's great in the US but in Canada it's off by anywhere from 10-30kms for the city.
The touchmove option is very cool. Been messing with it on a new Lockscreen of Dacal's. Lots of things you can do with this
Great share my man, thanksLast edited by The_Durben; 10-26-2012 at 11:43 AM.

Thanks bro, its not very accurate because it goes off ip.
I can pull gps location. The biggest issue as you may know is when anything uses your location services.
It will ask you first. By a Broswer confirm box. Well on the Lockscreen and wallpaper.html. Popups are not allowed. So there is no way to press accept.
That's all that's stopping me from have a gps based weather.
I did successfully write a script that when I open in ifile it automatically says ok to the popup so now you don't see it when you go to get the gps it just auto accepts.
Does not work on LS or SB though. I haven't found a way yet.

Yeah same issue. Looked at this with Dacal before too. Can't figure it out.
rasputin has a similar way but with php and a web page. You just refresh the web page for changes.
Fairly accurate for the most part. He has example scripts in the GPS thread
