[PREVIEW] Paragon
This is a preview of my upcoming theme, Paragon.
It is being developed exclusively for iOS 6, the range of devices that will support Paragon is not yet decided.

Features
Free Tile Movement
No more annoying edit mode or up/down options, you can now move the tiles like they're meant to be. Simply press and hold on the tile you wish to move and it will pop up and become draggable. When you are happy with your layout, press the home button or the tile to save it.
Changing Tile Sizes on the Spot

When you press and hold a tile, you are given the option to resize it to your liking. Not much into messaging? Make the tile small and put it out of the way. Always have some important appointment? Make the Calendar tile larger and it will show you what's on plan for today. Easy and simple with the touch of a button.
Built-in Search Function

If you have a lot of apps installed, your app list might get a bit too long to find everything fast. Just use the search function to easily find what you are looking for.
Custom Notification Banners

These new banners are system-wide and replace the default iOS ones. They have new animations and completely fit the theme, you can even slide them out of the way to get rid of them.
Custom Volume HUD

Getting rid of the obtrusive iOS Volume HUD, this new one, like the banners, is system-wide. Whenever you press a volume button, this small bar will appear on top and inform you about the current volume. If you have music playing, the new HUD will also give you media controls.
Bulletin Tiles (Work in Progress)
In an attempt to bring a better live tile experience to your device, these tiles utilise the info stored in push notifications and display what is new on the tile itself.

Beautiful flexibility in this theme, great concepts End! Any luck at finding ways to improve RAM performance in comparison to OS7 Revive? Also, are you building this with intention to be ably to easily port to the iPhone 5/iOS 6?
Don't forget to hit the thanks button if you liked what I said or did

Well, those aren't concepts, those are fully working features. Yes, I will be trying to make it as RAM friendly as possible, like always, but I'm also limited by the current hardware. I'll try my best, though. And as stated above, this will be iOS 6 exclusive, but once the iPhone 5's resolution is confirmed by Apple, I will make a version for it

What are your plans for enabling custom made live tiles with this? If so, are we gonna have to make 2 different html's for the different size tiles ? If you have set tile sizes already could you share the dimensions? Or do you think that the taller screen will affect your plans for the tile sizes? I've got fairly good coding skills, I would like to try my hand at making live tiles for this theme. Sorry for all the questions, this theme has my brain whirling with ideas I would like to try if you enable live tiles like in your previous themes.

Live tile support will be similar to OS7/Metroon. To be honest, I don't know a whole lot about HTML, but there were live tiles that changed according to the tile size made by Bcscustom, so I suggest you PM him. Current tile sizes are 65x65 for small tiles (which won't support HTML) 138x138 for medium ones and 284x138 for large ones. The tile sizes won't change for the iPhone 5 version since it's the same width, but this theme is obviously still in development so I can't 100% guarantee that the sizes will stay the same.

Thanks for replying, this information is helpful. By your reply, if I'm correct, there will be only one HTML then, and we will have to code it to dynamically change info according to the tile size selected? I will try to PM bcscustom but from what I've read lately on your other threads, I don't think he is theming anymore and pulled all his links. I see you have a messaging and calendar live tile already integrated, do you have plans on making other integrated live tiles? I understand that things are not locked because this is a early preview. I will see what I can come up with in the meantime. This is gonna be cool! I can't wait to play!

This depends on what people want, if they want two separate HTML files or only one, that's up for debate. I barely touched HTML live tiles yet so I'm flexible. I'm planning on making Xbox Music, Calendar, Messaging, Xbox Live and Pictures live tiles. I've also been working on bulletin live tiles which can be applied to any tile that has push notifications enabled, but I'll detail that later.
Yes. There are obviously more important things, and hubs are not a priority, but I will hopefully work on them at some pointLast edited by EndFinity; 08-17-2012 at 12:57 PM.
