Most of the times your Timed Walls are created are after a jailbreak moving from early spring to late summer - where of course there's a lot more daylight.. So now when you add any UniAW animation or Dacal animation to either of your wall sets from 5pm to 8pm you see the moon over daylight pics. The easiest thing for me to do is simply use some of the night pics for the extra 30 minutes in MJ's set - and the extra 12 minutes in Ian's set.. that I'd need to cover for the earlier sunsets... But this will be a 'yearly' occurrence and I wonder if 'coding' is the answer -- or just a different set of pics?

    I'm not sure if this has already been fixed as I am not too good with keeping up, but I noticed the fade-in transition was not functioning, to fix this do the following:

    1. Download and unzip the attached file, place the "blank.png" file into the "Images" folder of the theme.

    2. Open the "default.html" file for editing, change these two lines:

    Code:
    <img id="WPone"src="Images/blank.png"/>

    <img id="WPtwo" src="Images/blank.png"/>

    INTO THIS:

    Code:
    <img id="WPone"src="Images/blank.png" class="fade-out-wall"/>

    <img id="WPtwo" src="Images/blank.png" class="fade-out-wall"/>

    The next step is just my personal preference.
    3. Open the "general.css" file, change the settings for both "#WPone" & "#WPtwo".
    For both these settings, change this line:

    -webkit-transition-duration: 2s;

    Into this:

    -webkit-transition-duration: 6s;
    smash for mac updated to version 1.3. first post has new download link.

    I guess I post this here too incase it's useful for MJ (not sure what her code exactly looks like but it will be similar I'm guessing.

    Add this line (in red) to my timedWalls code: (you could replace the "+3" with a variable in a Config file or at the top of the .js file)
    For standard just make it "+0" or comment out the complete line.

    Code:
    var h = currentTime.getMinutes();
            var dummy = '-48';
            if (h <= 47) { dummy = '-36'; }
            if (h <= 35) { dummy = '-24'; }
            if (h <= 23) { dummy =  '-12'; }
            if (h <= 11) { dummy =  '-0'; }
    	currentTime.setHours(currentTime.getHours()+3); // Advance or regress hours for TimedWalls
            h = currentTime.getHours() + dummy;

    Ian, Dacal, and all others. I will be closing down my photobucket at the end of the year as I have found that shared photostreams are much more efficient. I have one for iPhone, one for iPad, and one for desktops (Mac or PC) sized for MacBook Retina but will work with 99.204727362% of desktops/laptops .(feel free to correct this percentage, Grant) Yes you can use shared photostreams on Windows as well. See this link for more info: http://support.apple.com/kb/dl1455

    Anyhow, with all that said, you are ALL invited. These streams are my public streams. If you want to join, don't PM me here, as I'm not on here as frequently as I used to be. PLEASE send an email to [email protected]

    In your email, please tell me if you want the iPhone, iPad, or desktop stream, or any combination or all three.

    Simon, 2k1, Bo, and any other mods: I apologize now, as I will be placing the same post in a few other threads, as there are so many followers of my photobucket library and I want to make sure everyone gets ample notice. I'd greatly appreciate if you would grant me a little leeway regarding multiple posts.

    I hope everyone is doing well. I hope your families are well, your friends, your spouses, and anyone you care about in your life. I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you. And you are all welcome to come into the stream. Have an awesome day.

    Happy modding!

    Hello. I've just submitted my first app to the AppStore

    Will be out soon. It's a wallpaper app with all of my wallpapers that I continue to add to nearly every day. This will not require you to ever update the app (barring any future versions of iOS breaking the app) as all additions to the wallpaper database is done on my end. The app itself is only about 1.5 mb, as it's coded to only pull a plst that is stored in an external server. And the plst then accesses the hosted images and thumbnails. I've spent the last few days coding this, rather than coding widgets. Here are some screenshots.

    It will only be $0.99 on the AppStore. And is currently waiting approval. Who's in?

    Ok, a few things.

    MJSmash WILL be updated to work on iOS 7. I could say its because I'm a nice person, and that I want all my users to be able to continue using it, but in all honesty, it's my mod, it's my favorite lock screen, and I wanna use it I'm willing to put in the work required to make it compatible, once an updated version of substrate and winter board are released. Please understand this is going to take some time, as there are a LOT of changes that happened with the roll out of iOS 7. It's not just visual changes, but a lot of "under the hood" performance changes, like the way the touches are handled, among other things.

    Notes
    If you are on a 5S, nothing is going to work until substrate gets an update and is coded for 64bit devices. You're all just going to have to give Saurik time to work his magic. In the meantime, you can "predownload" the tweaks you will want, so that they are "bookmarked" in a sense, then simply reinstall them after substrate gets updated. Here is a thread on our very own mmi that will provide you with a listing of iOS 7 compatible tweaks. List of iOS7 compatible Cydia Tweaks - let's compare notes

    Now, with all that said, manual theming is possible without winterboard. On ANY device. Here is my 5S Running Glasklart.
    I have gone into the system files and manually switched out the stock icons for the transparent ones. It's a lot of work, and takes a lot of time, but all we have is time while we wait for updates, right? And since everyone has been whining for ages about the ugly stock icons, why not do some work and see a small percentage of what the themers go through... Hunting down icon names, bundling them properly, so that all that the end user has to do is check a darned theme in winter board. Maybe if the iCommunity as a whole realized what kind of work goes into these themes, then maybe the pirating will lessen, as it will never completely stop. Here's a thread by my very good friend, JatoBZ about iOS7 and manual theming. Should get you started. iOS7x Theme GUIDE

    I'll get of my podium now... Sorry. With all this talk on twitter lately about piracy and wanting to lock down crap with DRM's... (We want open source root access... Not more restrictions) it just seems that maybe we should appeal to the human side of things, and encourage people to learn rather than to lock them out.

    For those of you that have been asking me about my upcoming wallpaper app, "MJWalls", (fourth row, fourth icon in the screenshot above) everything has been coded, and has been submitted to the Apple AppStore and is currently "waiting for review" from the powers that be. As soon as I get approval, and it is in the store, I will provide a direct link to it. Here are some screenshots of it running on my 5S.
    It will work on all 3.5" and 4" devices, iOS 6-7, and there will be a separate iPad app after the initial version is out. Doesn't make sense to make a universal (iPhone/iPad) version, as I am very choosy about the wallpapers that go in it, and the resolution for iPad is much higher than that of an iPhone.

    Happy holidays, and a very happy new year.

    Well, we have a very long way to go before my 5S will feel even remotely close to "fully themed". But with one of your amazing wallpapers in the background and a couple of tweaks up and running… I can see the potential.

    How can I get rid of that ugly dock?

    Here to help if I can. If I can't I know someone who can!

    Install "TransparentDock" from cydia.

    Doesn't work on 5S. And even if it did it forces a WinterBoard dependency. Don't want that yet on my 5S.

    Should have been more specific… I want the manual theme option to remove it.
