Hi Guys

I have a question ! I have an amazing lockscreen clock mad by Chevy "cool guy" but I don't want it to pick up any wallpaper at all. I want to be able to choose my own lockscreen wallpaper at will. I have looked at the code until my eyes are bleeding and I can't figure it out.

At the moment it picks up a JPG image but if I edit that string it just brings a black screen with a little ? On it. I have also tried to drop a transparent PNG in there and point it to that too, but the same thing happens.

I don't want to pester Chevy all the time as I am sure he gets 10,00 requests a day. And I would also like to do this myself so I can learn a bit. I can change font size, colour move the widget around etc etc, so I am getting there slowly.

But for the life of me I am struggling with this

Any help would be great

That's the SB from legacy credits to max pain, gonna have to edit the wall to make it look like that though. It's on page 202 of the legacy thread if you don't want the Calendar up top there is another version with out it there.

Springtomize can skew the dock icons like that

And the clock is status bar word clock in cydia thanks to schnedi for that I believe.

The overlay that bears the clock image is "united" with it's background image as one PNG made in Photoshop. Often times they're inseparable. You'd have to ask Chevy to make the clock overlay separate. Without seeing the code that's my best guess from my experience modding lockscreens. If there were a background image and overlay image separate you'd see two images addressed [IMG source] in the early lines of code in the .html. I'll bet there's only 1.

Thanks for this. Yes there is only one image :-( I was hoping not to bother pestering Chevy again, I have put my own Wallpaper on now by dropping a Jpeg into where the other the other image was. So I have a Wallpaper I want. But I was looking for just the clock and date like you said and just change my wallpaper at will.

where do you get the custom slider? normally it should be winterboard theme

boss slider.theme.zip

apply in winterboard and respring (you can change the image as your liking)
