    1. create a folder with in the Accent Icons.theme folder
    2. name the Folder "Icons"
    3. Transfer icons to the new folder
    4. Make a copy of any icon You putted there and name them for example "Sparrow.png" and
"[email protected]" remember to name icons correctly as they are displayer on Your SB
    5. go to winterboard, turn summerboard mode on and respring.

Can anyone make a generic "banking" icon? Anything will do. TIA.

Thx. I understand that but was curious if others had another way as my icons would double mask.

Excellent post and advice. I am back to Summerboard seems to always be the easiest way to apply new icons and avoid masking issues.

I'm not Completely sure but I think Summerboard will remove the ability of winterboard to pull icons into small size or other UI custom pieces like lockinfo or the NC

Was wondering... I might just blank out the app mask and customize my visible apps - pop my less used ones in a folder and get to them whenever. I have a feeling this theme will be hot and we will have a nice collection quickly : )

The only disadvantage to using summer board I've ever come across is that it is slightly slower as its older

That's true, my Lockinfo does not load the new icons with summerboard on. Wondering if there is another method of pulling the smalls new icons with summerboard.

Just a theory and def more work but, if you just pop the custom icon in the Icons folder, then into its bundle, for Springboard the Icons icon should take precedent and for the other apps size rendering should use the bundles icon. Obviously the smaller rendering would be masked but at the smaller size The details wouldnt be missed too much

Let me see if I got you right. The "icons" folder should be for the SB apps 114x114 as I have them today. Now, I create a "bundles" folder for the 57x57 icons used in Lockinfo for example right?

Search online for GIMP. It's free.

I notice a lag when swiping my springboard pages with summer board on. Turn it or winterboard substrate off and swipe to see the difference

I have Barrel app and there is no lag with it installed. I forgot about that. I have experienced that.
Barrel is a cool app and I bought it. My son loves it with my old iphone4.

Looks like there is a lot of confusion on icons and such..

Summerboard mode should not effect anything with the theme. It is known to make the phone a little slower but ussually only on the first couple page swipes (till everything caches). For this main reason is why we typically dont use summerboard mode. However, there is no way to theme icons this unique way for app store icons with the mask getting applied.

You need to make sure you have an "Icons" folder with in the main theme along with "Folders" and "Bundles".. with summerboard enabled any icon in the "Icons" folder will override any icon masking.

To the guy with double masking.. this happens when you applie the mask styles to an appstore icon and place them in the bundles/folders directory. You need to make your icons with out any styling. and the auto appstore mask will take care of the rest

hope that clears things up a bit

icons in the "Icons" folder with summerboard mode will be applied in the exact size they are.. Back in the day Nav themes were done by making one of the category icons really big like 150 by 150 pixels (non retina) because with summerboard mode the icons are applied in whatever size yo have them.. if you want them to look the same as the rest of the icons for this theme. you need to leave the canvas size the same as the psd 118x120.

VERY IMPORTTANT when using summerboard mode with the icons you MUST have an yourapp.png and [email protected] both need to be there

for those things to work you would need to have the icon placed in the folders/bundles directory.. the outside will get cut off but the icon will be so small you wont notice
