I'm on 5.1.1 and works fine. Not sure how it works with 5.0.1...Maybe reinstall tweak in cydia, remove other tweaks...

For some reason when I use iwidgets it constantly crashes and I'm forced to remove it. I'm on iPhone 4s 5.0.1 any ideas? It crashes mobile substrate as soon as I select the iwidget. I can't seem to figure out what is wrong. Any help would rock guys

Is it every iWidget or just some of them ? And which iWidget are you using ? The one from Eldwins repo or the Cydia MMI one ? If you are using the one from Eldwins Repo I would take that off and install the MMI one on Cydia

Ok it seems to only be the iwidgets from Carla for ios theme.

I'm working on a solution for it, a bit clunky right now. I can find the x,y and width,height from the touchesEnded method on the SBIconView. So if you were to move the widget even 1 pixel it would break. Not a great solution but its a start. if it turns into anything somewhat user friendly I will share it.

I have created a little tweak that allows you to set a URL to open an app when tapping on the widget.

It only works when you User Interaction Disabled.

To use:
To setup the URL for the widget you will need to enable Edit Mode by going to OpenAppAnywhere in the system preferences, then tap the widget, it should bring up a popup window allowing you type in a new URL or edit an existing.

Disable the Edit Mode and try tapping the widget

** This has only been tested on my iPhone 4 running iOS 5.1.1 **

Download the beta files: http://sddevstudio.com/OpenAppAnywhere-beta.zip
Install:
1) copy the files in the ms-dl folder into /Library/MobileSubstrate/DynamicLibraries/
2) copy the files in the pl-p folder into /Library/PreferenceLoader/Preferences/
3) respring

Hi. Thank you to everyone who contributes work to the i-community. I can't write code, and can only modify it a little. I learn best by looking at what others have done. So to say "thank you", I would like to share a set of simple weather images I created for a personal project. These are inspired by dansaDisco's Flite weather images, and the Clima Con images used by schnedi. All images have been created in illustrator, and effects added in PS. The PSDs include an early set that looked way too cluttered, and the set you see in the preview. All vector, for easy re-sizing and colour mods. Credit Vic for all her help, and to schnedi, for making these into a nice weather NC set. Thank you.

It's a add on to the main pack. It's called DB_GPS_Dropscreen_iWidget

You will find it in Cydia and as long as you have him main pack it is free

I don't usually post much on here because I'm too busy playing catch-up trying to figure out how Drifter, Eldwin, Chevy, Durben and Schnedi plus all the regular iWidget contributors do what they do so well. Anyway, here's me today with thanks to everyone on the thread for making iwidgetry possible - it's the only reason I've not upgraded (downgraded perhaps) to an iPhone 5.
