GPS Weather Lockscreen by crazyvivek in cydia is what you need for your iOS

that never worked for me either (im also on 5.0.1)

and i didnt get it from a pirate repo

no matter how many times i tried (may be 10, cant remember any more)
app run only once, after that always crashes (so cant turn sig "on")
not found in Location Services
and looking into my Documents, MyLocation.txt, is always empty
even when i tried to add manually my coordinates, it didnt work

any help would be highly appreciated

It already has that option your looking for enabled

Your gonna have to add a few lines of javascript along with editing the options.plist, please refer to the main.js to see how it works.

If it crashes when you open it, that is usually a permissions issue. You need to look at the "instructions" in my sig on how to fix the permissions. You can follow those instructions to install myLocation, except just install the version for your iOS. Do not use my repo.

Hope this helps.

If you manually use the myLocation.txt file, make sure that you spell it like I have it, if you used it like you spelled it, it won't work.

Lastly - you have to move all the data that is displayed from its location on the screen in the SB widget to the uppermost and left most it can be and still be in proportion to other bits of data.. I'm assuming you already know how to do this..

That for me is usually the most challenging part of converting a widget to iwidget.

idk if this has been posted or not, but my question is this; Is there any way to keep the original size of the widgets but shrink the size of the icons. I had this setup just fine and then I went into springtomize and changed the icon size to 90% and then decided to move it back to 80%, which it originally was, but now the widgets have shrank along with the icons. I have tried to disable and re-install iWidgets to see if that would fix the issue and they are still shrunk. The 2 that I am using are DB_MiniGPS_Options and MinimalClockDateS.

Any help would be appreciated, tia

Hi there would be no reason why Springtomize shrinks the Widget icon size ?

If I was you I would

1. Re spring
2. Use iWipe or similar too to clear your cache and temporary files
3. Re name the Widget, in var > Mobile > Library > iWidgets then re spring

I would try in that order and one of those should sort it out for you ;-)

I had that problem with shrinking aswell. Durben gave me away round it shrink your icons first then activate the widget

So I figured it out. I had turned on Cover Flow in Springtomize and that was what was causing the widgets to shrink. As soon as I turned that off everything went back to normal, go figure. But thank you guys for the help.
