May be live later today but if not first thing tomorrow. Depends how fast MMi processes it.

This is correct. I've been using it since jailbreaking. Most of my work is done on device. JS always needs a Respring (except for any var config option) css animation sometimes doesn't take until Respring but pretty much every css or html change shows.

@Richard a friend of mine buys factory unlocked phones in Canada from Apple and takes them to Hong Kong
They all work on any carrier. As long as they provide a sim card that fits
Buying unlocked from Apple in the US it will work in the UK

Oh believe me, Drifter, I have countless hours using that little tool. And I assure you every single.CSS or .HTML change I have ever made shows up in WebViewer immediately without a respring. Every single one without question. Now, granted, I'm not doing advanced type of editing especially of JavaScript files like you advanced guys are doing. So I can't speak for JavaScript changes. And I'll take your word for it. But 95% of all of the modding that we "amateurs" do is to the.html or.CSS files. And every position change, animation start or suppression, scaling, etc, all shows up without a Respring in WebViewer. You certainly have to admit it's an important tool for a noob/intermediate modder. Agreed?
Here to help if I can. If I can't I know someone who can!

HTML and CSS shows the changes in iFile web viewer.

and JS not inmediately BUT no need to respring... just close the app and delete it from multitasking, open it again and the changes are done.

Hey Schnedi, it seems that the LG widget is giving incorrect weather icon as you can see in the screen shot. It's not "raining snow" outside, haha, the top widget is showing the correct weather image. I noticed it today as it was showing "night" icon during the day as well.

I am sure you'll figure it out. Thanks.

  18. #1771
yes i did there was a mistake with the icons names. i already fixed it, and has to update it.

    English please.
Widget-Weather App Now Available! Also with MyLocation Support!
Check out the thread here - Widget-Weather
To install the Widget-Weather app, just go to Cydia and install. This will also remove MyLocation, as it is built in!
Want to protect your JailBreak! Add this repo http://cydia.myrepospace.com/iLEXiNFO/ & Install "iLEX R.A.T."
It will allow you to bring your phone back to a fresh jailbroken state!

Could one of you please explain. In simple terms how you make a SBWidget or LSWidget in to a iWidget

I would like to make my own from a lot of the cool stuff out there "for my OWN pleasure" but don't know where to start

So could some body please post an idiots guide of PM me one

P.S I did look at the first post but I have no idea where to put that code in a normal Widget, that's why I would like a step by step guide.

I am sure I am not the only one who would like to do this, and the maybe me/we could bring more to the community

    Thanks

    Hi,
    Anyone can help me?
I can not have GPS on widgets. I have the firmware 5.0.1, I have installed GPS Weather loockscreen (5.1.xx) and it does not work because I have a lower firmware.

I can you say I have to do to enable GPS in widgets?
I created a file with my coordinates (MyLocation) but the most widgets need GPS.

Is there a version 5.0.1 GPS Weather Loockscreen for?

There are plenty of resources to learn HTML, CSS and JavaScript. If you would like to create widgets I suggest you go to the library and grab some books. Also codeacademy.com is a good place to start.

When you say in simple terms. There is none. If I tell you to put that line of code in the body instead of the head you probably have no idea what I'm talking about. Even though that is simple terms. You still need to learn the language.

Like me asking if someone in simple terms can teach me Spanish.

    Hi ya

Thanks for that, i was not asking to be taught how to code, and I can basically read code. And I don't want to run before I can walk. So the main thing I was looking for is the way normal SBWidgets and Lockscreen Widgets are turned into iWidgets.

Hope that makes it a bit clearer ?

    Thanks

Oh I see look at the first post it's all there. Also download an iWidgets and see how it's setup. Widget needs to be widget.html and create a plist widget.plist. What don't you understand.
