@rion_j: Thanks for the praise! IMHO I find Dashboard X cooler, it's the first thing I'm buying when I move to iOS5. iWidgets may appeal more to those who want to make their own widgets since it's considerably easier to do so.
@The_Durben: Looking forward to your widgets too! The tweak currently has over 300 downloads thanks to some French and Italian websites featuring it. I'd like to release this sooner, but unfortunately, no one is leaving comments so I'm not quite confident that my updates haven't been breaking stuff.

I have had no issues at all with the tweak.
I've passed it along to another mad coder Max Pa1n and he hasn't told me anything negative either.
I have found you can add a widget to a full page of icons (my mini weather) actually works that way. Touch in between icons and you get the pop up and then can place the widget. In the case where it's a small one like the weather I have it doesn't end up over any icon when placed above the dock.
Overall solid job dude

wow, just popped over to this thread to check it out after Durben, Gunny, and Max mentioned it on the Se7en thread.. although i have no real idea when it comes to coding etc this concept looks pretty interesting and definitely deserves a lot of attention because it has obvious potential(especially with guys like The Mechanic and Mad Max getting interested).. awesome job eldwin

that sh1t is sick Durben! absolutely love it brother!Last edited by nateD; 05-20-2012 at 11:26 PM.

Just stopping by to say thanks to eldwin for the awesome tweak, the updated version has no crash at all till now. You can add and move widgets around smoothly with very minimal ram usage. Definitely deserves more attentions from modders and themers. I would love to see this evolve further

good job and keep it up

Thank you all for stopping by to let me know that the tweak is working fine. Having only one device to constantly test my work on has made me somewhat reluctant to push drastic changes for fear of breaking stuff. Now I can move on with a peace of mind. =)

I just want to add that this tweak is epic. Everything works fine and it's much more convenient than using PPHTML+ or winterboard. I only have two problems though.
1) I once placed the clock widget just under the page dots by accident. When I went to close it by pressing x it kept on taking me to the home page so I ended up renaming the widget to remove it. Lol
2) I'm a knob so it takes me years to convert normal HTML widgets to iwidget format

@ss4adib:
Glad you like it & I really appreciate the feedback. Let me address the two issues.
1) When time permits, I will create an interface to remove widgets besides tapping the close box. Not sure when I can get to this though.
2) I'm not sure if I can help you here. Someone has to do the initial conversion work. My goal of this project is a tweak where non-programmers will touch as little code as possible after downloading a widget made by someone savvy. The most obvious example is that we shouldn't need to know how to code to position a widget. What you could do is to urge more smart guys like Durben to share their work so that our non-developer friends can benefit =)

Using the iwidget tweak a slight modding is needed to existing widgets to use them. As you have seen Durben has made quite a few that he said will be sharing read his post a few pages back for what he has and has said exactly
.
Using normal widgets will need wallpaper removing and slight modification in the CSS file on most they are not hard tasks to undertake even for a noob

Hohoho
I am in da place !!!!
Watch this >>> Iwidgets - YouTube
Download the 3 iwidgets >>> MyIwidgets.zip
Each time there is a config.js or a configureMe.js to change the iwidget in your language. The weather iwidget is a native weather widget and weathericon must be installed first.

Very nice Zoo! Simple but elegant and able to be applied to numerous themes.
Post the clock dude
My widgets are coming today. Need to add a few things to the touch SS one but won't be long.
I was reluctant just cause I didn't want eldwin to have run into issues and change things where the widgets didn't work. Then I'd be rewriting and dealing with a ton of messagesLast edited by The_Durben; 05-21-2012 at 11:59 AM.

Okey guys here is the Analog Clock widget : http://db.tt/2w5QCGtq
Coded by the_Durben of course, and adapted to Turquesa by me
A better version is coming soon (for now the widget "hides" some icons according to its position on your homescreen...it will be fixed by the_Durben himself!).
Hope you'll enjoy it!

Here's 4 widgets. Please if you remake them for personal use I don't care. If you make one for a theme and you want to post it ask me first. In these widgets there is a base image I used from Jimmy (designer of SE7EN) just remade to fit these widgets. As its basic black with a bit of silver they should match pretty much all themes out the box aside from text color.
All my weather widgets use GPS Weather. You need the MyLocation app from crazyvivek (in Cydia~Download GPS Weather Lockscreen and you get the app)
The app does not work on iOS 5.1 5.1.1 at this point but you can get a work around here:

Durben Mini GPS

Durben GPS Weather

Large version picture based weather. Thanks Chevymusclecar for the weather pics.
Credit myself, Chevy and crazyvivek
Download: Durben_GPS_iWidget.rar
Durben iNteractive Slideshow

10 picture interactive (touch arrows for next and previous pic)
All pictures I took at a car show of some classic rides. You can add you own 10 pictures to the Slideshow folder. Delete or rename the ones in the folder and add your own landscape orientation sized pics named 1.png 2.png ect up to 10.png. Try to keep each picture file size under 1mb for optimal use. Larger sized files will slow down considerably.
Download: iNteractiveSS.rar
Durben GPS Weather V3 (interactive)

This was originally a fullscreen Lockscreen I had asked Dacalme to help with integrating his touch forecast to.
He rewrote the whole script for me and made it awesome. BIG BIG THANKS to him for always helping and just being awesome at scripting widgets. Although this is default set as a GPS widget there is an option in the config to set it to false where it then uses woeid (zip code) to get your weather.
Again, thanks to Dacal for this. I just rewrote it again to be a smaller widget to fit this format.
Also uses the same weather images from Chevy.
Download: Durben_GPS_SB_V3.rar
**In the weather widgets there is a config.js for Celcius or Fahrenheit and a few language options.
***My Analog clock version is done I'm just not at my PC to get it up on Mediafire. I'll get that up later.
Looks like this. No offense to eldwin but I hate that stock analog clock.
I also have a version of this clock that has weather inside the clock frame. I'm just trying to figure out how to align the text and what text to include so it's not cluttered.

Anyway, I hope you all enjoy
Remember, a little thanks goes a long way
