Aslong as the pics are double the size of the widget you can use as the HTML resizes them I say double the size if your using a retina device same size as widget if not. Yes you can use your own pics just name them as the originals are. As for linear try and you will see what it does

When these changes are made you set the widget's position, manually (when wiggling) when it reads Mostly Cloudy or Partly Cloudy (one of the 'more words' descriptions) and then when it's 'Fair or Cloudy or Rain' again - the widget's relative position on your screen won't move nearly as drastically as it does with 'left align'.
Now I want mine to be in a more of a right lower quadrant position hence - center allows it to hover in a non-far-right or non-far left position. If someone wants the description iWidget to hug the far left or far right - then 'align: left' or even 'align: right' would work even better for them.. So MAYBE - for REAL fun might be for you to put that in the OPTIONS list which 'option' for alignment they'd want. If that's possible code-wise. The ultimate goal being for the text NOT to move out of the relative quadrant you want it in.
Hope that makes sense!

Should do as Chevvy is using portrait pictures of cars and they work alrite. With any slideshow widget you can always exchange the the pictures that are supplied with it. May take some trial and error to find what ones look best but majority of the time use same dimensions as the originals and there shouldn't be a problem

First of all I've got to say a huge thanks to Drifter for making iwidgets appear easier than I first thought and to the regular contributors, you all know who you are. Since I've JB'd my phone, it's become quite a hobby trying to keep up with the innovative tweaks you guys all come up with and I often wonder at the coding expertise which I'm struggling to 'read' let alone 'write'.
I really like this iwidget, and you can see I've tweaked it a bit to move the weather description to the white roller but what I'd really like is to have the sunrise and sunset times in the spare space under my town. As a wildfowler it's quite handy knowing when the birds are going to bed and getting up :-)
Anyway, I've been trying to do this. I've studied other widgets and iwidgets and made what I think are the necessary edits to the css files but it does not work. I have been smacking my head on my keyboard so much I now have YTREWQ indented on my forehead and my wife insists I wear a bicycle helmet for safety's sake when I'm on the MMI site. So, I'm asking, for the love of all things holy, and for the sake of my furrowed brow, can someone point me in the right direction of how to do this and what code needs to go where.
Thank you in advance.

Yes, I think I'm not done with my separable weather widgets. I too noticed that the texts are hard to grab and that at the left align position isn't always the best for a particular layout. Sometimes they look best left justified, other times center works best, and other times right is the the best solution.
To make it easier, I'm gonna add a option for text alignment (left, center, or right justification). As for the width, I think leaving it set at 320px is the best solution because that's the width of the average screen, if I set it higher, it would bleed over into the next page, and for me thats not acceptable. When setting text alignments, you need a width element defined to give a end reference point for center and right alignments. So I think screen width (320px) is the best option. Also I had a tough time deciding the heights, if you use a 20px font and I have it set to 100 in the widget plist, then there's a large space below that might cover up icons and make them untouchable. I cannot affect the widget.plist with a setting in the options.plist. So I have to set it at a reasonable number that still leaves room for different size fonts, but not too much to cover icons when using smaller fonts. I gonna change the code and add a valign, this way I can set the height to the largest font size, and then center the texts within the height I have set in the widget for smaller fonts.
Hopefully, people aren't tired of all my "final" revisions

For those who liked my Seperable Weather iWidgets, I have added additional options to help you align your text based Seperable Weather iWidgets.
In addition to being able to select Font Style, color and size, you now have to options to Align your texts based on your personal setups preferences.
The new options include Left, Center and Right alignments.
This should eliminate having to move the iWidget anytime the text dynamically changes larger or smaller.
Heres a couple screenshots of what you will get with this package:
Download here: Drifters Seperable Weather iWidgets V4.1 with Options.zip
I hope you like the new options
These particular iWidgets will only work with the "unstable" version of iWidgets.
Credits to Ian and Dacal for the UniAW source code I used to create the Weather based iWidgets
ChevyMuscleCar for the Weather Icon sets.
Durben, Schnedi and Gunny for showing great examples of how to code the options.plist
Schnedi for the original source code for the Text based clock.
Finally Eldwin for his work in creating this wonderful iWidget interface.
Thanks everybody for your support, suggestions and positive feedback
