    Greetings my iWidget Friends,

    Fun stuff going on at the UniAW6 thread, Platini posted a Awesome UniaW6.4 Lockscreen that uses a Googles StreetView image of your location as a background. The results are quite cool, so stop by there to check it out and to download it

    I was inspired so I decided to make a iWidget version Thanks to DaddyKool for the Overlays used in this iWidget

    Thanks to Platini and Ras for the inspiration and Google StreetView code I modded

    Here is the result:

    Added a options in the iWidget Options Menu to change your StreetView heading and pitch view.

    Simply tap on the iWidget to Refresh the widget and StreetView

    Download Weather version Here: Drifters UniAW StreetView iWidgetV7.1

    Requires the Widget Weather Tweak to function

    -------------------------------------

    Here is a no weather version, just StreetView and address in a compact iWidget form.

    I added a couple options for different sizes, a option to display the address or not, and a view angle inputs so you can change your desired heading and pitch

    Simple tap on the Widget will refresh it

    Download No Weather Version here: Drifters StreetView iWidgetV2

    -------------------------------------

    Here is one just for fun

    Enter your Latitude and Longitude in the iWidgets Options menu and see the StreetView if available

    this result:

    Download here: Drifters StreetView Coord Input iWidget

    -------------------------------------

    Please enable in the WidgetWeather settings menu "extras" section the "Neighborhood Location".

    This will create the extended GPS coordinates in the widgetweather.xml that this StreetView iWidget uses.

    I found these coordinates to be more accurate than the standard Lat and Long because of the extra decimal places.

    Without this checked the StreetView will show the wrong location because its looking for the extraLocName coordinates instead of the standard Lat and Long.

    Some areas just don't have Google StreetView images available, sorry I cannot fix that

    The temp comes from the WidgetWeather.xml, so when the widget loads correctly, the temp should update.

    Yes. Forecast and Widget Weather aren't compatible.

    I wonder if Forecast's interference with WW affects both the XML updating AND the myLocation.txt updating. If myLoc is unaffected - the widget could be rewritten to grab just the coordinates from it. This wouldn't help temperature - but you'd get Street View and City name from Google with just coordinates.
    Here to help if I can. If I can't I know someone who can!

    Hey Marty, do you think it's possible to make an iBooks widget similar to the one in the pic below? Never thought about a book widget till I saw one, and I must say it makes perfect sense.

    Hey bro. Saw the other post but I'm not 100% sure what you're looking for.

    Is the idea that this widget would scroll through your existing inventory of iBooks on your phone with cover images? If thats the case, I have no idea how to tap into the iBooks app.

    Sorry bro. Maybe someone else can provide some more insight.

    You make the size in the widget.plist smaller like you did. To stop it cutting off you need to add a fade in WebKit animation to your elements in the CSS file.

    It only holds 3 books but lets you swipe between them. As far as I can tell its only a shortcut to the app, of course opening to the book selected.

    Simon is correct, but to be more specific try adding this to the body tag in the css:

    Code:
    body {
    opacity:0;
    -webkit-animation: fadein 1s linear 1 normal;
    -webkit-animation-fill-mode: forwards;
    }

    @-webkit-keyframes fadein{
    0%	{opacity : 0;}
    50%	{opacity : 0;}
    100%	{opacity : 1.0;}
    }
    Reduce your widget.plist height and you should be able to touch the icons below

    Hi everyone

    here my e7 LS Swag Widget today for Cydget and for LockHTML3 ( iP4/iP5 )

    Big Thanks to Marmoul,Marty & Silex for helping and Special Thanks to TeddyDiesel for testing on iP5

    Instructions :

    1- You need "Widget Weather" tweak from cydia for your Location and have few extra option
    2- "Cydget" tweak to run e7_LS-Swag.cydget ( Optional for people who don't have LockHTML3 )
    3- "LockHTML3" ( paid tweak but i like it, pretty awesome tweak )
    4- to change the C to F it will be in Widget Weather tweak, and also the clock to 12h to 24h

    ** FYI this widget will NOT work properly if you try on GroovyLock because the Touch Click doesn't support yet, so will wait **

    Path for Cydget to put the widget : System/Library/LockCydgets

    Path for LockHTML3 : there is 2 way to do it, you can put inside var/stash/Themes.Xxxx or var/mobile/Library/iWidgets ( this is what i use.. ( all my widgets in one place ) but i will recommend you thru winterboard

    Preview :

    LS with 2 Panels Sliding left & right with a touch click

    Weather Info appear after the Touch Click

    Download Link for Cydget : e7_LS_Swag.cydget

    Download Link for LockHTML3 : e7-LS-Swag

    Have a good day all, Hope you guys Enjoy it

    Is there anybody willing to remake this widget to be compatible with iWidgets?:ImageUploadedByModMyi1396365816.516560.jpg
    It holds three shortcuts to books in your library, and you can cycle between them I'm not 100% sure this is possible so any feedback is appreciated. TIA

    While Eldwin did enable url schemes within iwidgets, I dont think anybody has figured out how to use it yet.

    Refer to Eldwins Page 299, post #5965, he posted some interesting links that might be a step in the right direction.

    I did check out the URL Schemes link he posted and it did include iBooks with a couple of schemes, but how to implement it is beyond me at the moment.

    The other issues are the querying of your ibook Library to get a list of books installed, then to find the cover images for the widget to cycle thru. Not something that I think you can do with HTML and Java from within the iWidget platform. I could be wrong, wont be the first time.

    Maybe somebody else can chime in, this will not be a iWidget I plan on developing, Sorry

    I've got it working with the RSS scrolling iWidget that I use to display weather alerts in my area. Tap the widget and safari opens to the Environment Canada alert page with more details.

    So just opening an app/web browser is the easy part I think. You hit the nail on the head though about querying the iBooks library, etc. No idea how that's done.

    Sorry bro, don't think I will be looking into this either

    There's only certain things that you can access through schemes. I believe apple has a list.

    Try this:
