All you have to do is comment out the element with a "display:none;" after the element you want to hide. Each element has a # before it. This is done through the Style.CSS. Also note that the 5 day forecast and the 6 hour forecast are to separate elements. If you wish to keep the 6 hour forecast you would have to change and raise it's position, otherwise you would need to hide it as well. Here's a snapshot of the widgets CSS, showing an element that is commented out to hide it.ImageUploadedByModMyi1395237532.887025.jpg

    Greetings my iWidget Friends,

Finally finished up my rendition of a Word Clock/Calendar iWidget

Big Thanks to Ske7cH, Durben, EricB78, DaddyKool and NateD for the Images used in this widget.
Top notch bunch of guys in my book

There is 2 versions on the same iWidget, a 2x2 and a 4x1 and can be selected through the iWidget menu system.

I also added a Font Color input so you can change the Font Color to any #hex or word color you like

When using hex numbers remember to add the # to it first: example #000000
or try typing in word colors: some examples are: white, black, darkred, deepskyblue etc...

Here's some screenshots of the different sizes and frame choices:

    Default Icon directory list?
Is there a list or a site where the icons for the iwidgets are?
Like there is the Klear icons, HTC icons etc.
What are the names of some other sets and does anyone know if there is collection out there?

    Thanks!

    Default McFly World Clock iWidget
*****Sorry Drifter - didn't mean to take the spotlight off of your amazing updated RSS iWidget above. I waited til today to post because I didn't want to 'piggy back' so quickly*****

    Happy Friday everyone,

    Here's something a little different...

    McFly World Clock iWidget

    [Tweak] iWidgets-photo.png

The inspiration for this came from TaJr12's post here: [Tweak] iWidgets. I hope this helps and is what you were looking for bro.

With this iWidget, you can display the time in whatever time zone you choose - regardless of what time zone you are in. Simply select your desired time zone by choosing a city in the available list:

    Local Time
    London GMT
    Rome
    Bangkok
    Hong Kong
    Tokyo
    Sydney
    Fiji
    Hawaii
    San Francisco
    New York
    Buenos Aires

I think most time zone's have been accounted for

Lot's of options to play with including user defined 'display text'

    [Tweak] iWidgets-959990_1395371331.png

I don't take credit for the source code as I got it from here: Cut & Paste Drop Down World Clock

The code for changing the font came from NewD's Ultimate Location iWidget so credit to him for that. Thanks to King, EricB78, Alfroggy & Sk37ch for input along the way and helping me test. Much appreciated guys!

Also, special thanks to EricB78 who made the 3 available backgrounds. Totally makes this iWidget more 'classy' I think - can't thank you enough bro!!

    Download Link: McFly World Clock

Enjoy and have a great weekend!

Default 4 You [McFly Cut Concept] [v2] iWidget
    ::: 4 You [McFly Cut Concept] [v2] iWidget :::

After version 1 of this iWidget was released, I was so pumped that the we overcame all the hurdles involved in a design like this. Then Marty comes back to me with a touch forecast base, and we went about peicing together the intricate puzzle. After 100+ hours of tedious image creation, coding, and refining, Marty and I are pleased to share Cut Concept v2, now with touch forecast.

Take away gradients, drop shadows, other lighting effects, and colour, then what's left of an image? Black, white and opacity. Let your wallpaper define the weather condition through opacity and "negative space".
Through the brilliant coding mind of my friend Marty McFly, we were able to carefully piece to together the frame, with the standard and forecast weather conditions, to allow a seamless transition across the widget. What seems like simplicity at first, can often be a well executed dance between complicated elements It's not often that the coding mind and graphic art minds can communicate each others ideas, considering the complexity of this project. I just want to say I'm truly grateful to have had this opportunity.

    :: Options ::
-Now with touch 5 day forecast.
    -Separate MyLocation, or WidgetWeather choices.
-Several frames to choose from, including shadow and flat.
-Black or white weather set, custom made for this widget.
    -Font colour option.
    -Many Language options.
-Plenty more options including; Neighbourhood, C/F Temp, WOIED (MyLocation iWidget only), and more.

    :: FAQ / More Info ::
-Text colour can be changed via a hex code. Just enter the hex code without the "#". Please use "ffffff" and not "FFFFFF", for white, as the code seems to be case sensitive. You can also enter "white" and it will also show white text. Same goes for your other basic colours. Here's a link with easy to use colour pallets. Check the popular section for some useful tones http://www.color-hex.com/color-palettes/
-The WidgetWeather version (standard) uses the update interval set within WW settings.
-Both WW, and MyLocation iWidgets, have the same end functionality in terms of what you see.
-When choosing a frame, note the first colour in the frame option (black or white), and choose the corresponding coloured weather set.
-Feel free to request particular frames, and I'll accommodate where possible.

    Credits and Notes:
If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask. Please contact myself before re-distribution of any of the artwork contained within the package. Common courtesy for the many hours I've put into the creation of the weather set, will often get you the PSDs Credit goes to Marty Mcfly for the coding. Thank you to Alfroggy, Krima, Marty, and Vic for the feedback and support.

    Thank you

    Simply FABULOUS!!! Thanks guys!!

    Edited:
Only problem is I can't change text color. No matter what 5 or 6 digit color code I enter, upper or lower case, it only comes out black. Also in choosing white or dark weather icon - only black results regardless of what I choose in the options.

Very strange. Which version are you using? I just tested with my v2 WW version and all is fine. When entering color codes, don't enter the "#" - just the hex number (ie: E3A281). The only thing I can think of is that maybe the latest version didn't get uploaded. Try this one:

I know, horrible color choice - lol. Just wanted to show that all is working ok.

EDIT: Just tried the MyLoc version and all is ok as well. Let me know if you need a new link for that one.

Yeah - wasn't using the #. I just tried again and it appears with mono colors you need to only use three hexadecimal places. I was just trying to get white and when I entered FFFFF or FFFFFF (the hex color for white) it would only give me black.. But when I minimized to '3' characters. FFF I got white. Very strange. But at least I can get white now.. All good, bro!

Hi all. Just a little tip that I'm sure most modders know but for those that don't....

With some iWidgets that have a touch function, you may notice a slight "flash" when touched (not sure how else to describe it). You can remove this and have a smooth touch transition by making the dimensions of your touch layer 320x568.

I was quite happy when I figured that out a while ago but never posted.

    Hope this helps.

But at least I can get white now.. All good, bro!
Try "ffffff" then press done. Also "fafafa" is a few tones darker, and also easy to type. "FFFFFF" doesn't work sorry (I checked). I stick to the upper/lower case I get from PS. "fff" is also hex, so I don't see why the other hex isn't working, when you said you tried "ffffff".

So do I need to upload a new version? Are the ones in my post not working?
I just tested both, and have neither of the issues ND is having. I'd like to sort this out on my end also, as I'd like to have a working link with the description and instructions above. Thank you.
