    As far as your question, honestly I'm not sure. Drifter and Matchstic have a couple of widgets that show battery and RAM stats. I know that's not signal and wifi but I'm guessing the concept behind them is similar. In order to tap into this information from a widget, I'm guessing a tweak would be needed. Similar to Drifter and Matchstic's InfoStats tweak.....

    Drifter and MatchStic's Battery Stats iWidget

    Maybe someone else can chime in with some more info?
    Thanks Marty! I really appreciate your insight. I was figuring something like infostats would be necessary. Maybe I'll try to reach out to matchstic and see if it's possible and how difficult it would be to do.

    If anyone is interested in an MLB or NBA sports ticker widget, please let me know. I have it working on my phone right now.

    Ok, but this requires purchasing June's "iRSS iWidget" from Cydia.
    After you purchase it, open iFile and go into your "var/mobile/Library/iWidgets/iRSS" folder.
    Open up Options.plist in the Text Viewer and click Edit.
    The last string number you should see is 15. Underneath that, add this line:

    <key>NBA Scores</key>
    <string>16</string>

    Then Save and Click Done.

    Then open the Widget.html file in text viewer and click Edit.
    Scroll down near the bottom of the file and you should see something that says if(selection == "15").
    After the close bracket }, add this line:

    if(selection == "16"){
    var myurl ="http://www.wootability.com/nba.php"
    }

    Then Save and click Done.

    Then go to your springboard and add a new iWidget as per the usual process.
    Click iRSS and under RSS Feed, click the one that says NBA Scores.
    Then Add it.

    You should now see your NBA Scores ticker.

    So keeping in mind that perhaps sometimes less is more, I took a different approach to this next project. Take away gradients, drop shadows, other lighting effects, and colour, then what's left of an image? Black, white and opacity. Let your wallpaper define the weather condition through opacity and "negative space".
    Through the brilliant coding mind of my friend Marty McFly, we were able to carefully piece to together the frame and weather conditions, to allow a seamless transition across the widget. What seems like simplicity at first, can often be a well executed dance between complicated elements

    Options:
    -Several frames to choose from, including shadow and flat.
    -Black or white weather set, custom made for this widget.
    -Font colour option.
    -Language options.

    Credits and Notes:
    When choosing a frame, note the first colour in the frame option (black or white), and choose the corresponding coloured weather set. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask. Please contact myself before re-distribution of any of the artwork contained within the package. Common courtesy for the many hours I've put into the creation of the weather set, will often get you the PSDs Credit goes to Marty Mcfly for the coding. Thank you to Alfroggy, Krima, Marty, and Vic for the feedback and support.

    Thank you

    Here it is with the NBA and MLB scores. I have it set to change scores every 5 seconds. I'm also using 2 other RSS's in that as well, along with a radar iWidget.

    Anyone ever incorporate a Julian (number of the day of the year) date into a widget?

    That is all done through the .CSS folder as far as font size and weather image size that's displayed. As far as the weather icons, you have to swap out the iconset for the one that you want. I have a widget I can share. Don't know how big you're going for. ImageUploadedByModMyi1395194477.462533.jpg

    Not a problem, and with a little .CSS editing you could hide the 5 day and hourly sections of the widget. Also there are multiple weather icon sets in the widget if that's all you wanted.
