    Thanks in advance
If it did these things, then it would not be an iWidget.

What you are looking for is a springboard widget that runs from Winterboard. But sadly WB has not been updated to support this feature yet!

    Strange problem:
Iīm using a very small (height) widget and have put it on the statusbar.
Now I canīt move it - canīt grab it because NC grabber gets in the way.

Is there a file/plist where my used widget is stored and I can delete it there?
The other possibility is killing the widget folder and respring.
But then this widget is "lost" forever....

    Any hint is appreciated.

When that happens to me I go to the iwidget folder copy & rename it or something and then delete the other respring and use the one you renamed

i want make a sidebar widget, like Socialgod, if you know that, ill add pics, i want to leave user interaction on, to open the menu, like on the second pic. now i want to make a list of apps into the opening window, sth like ms windows menu, so my questions is: is it possible to start apps over links?

Its the lil grey icons on the side

If you just need to move it into place or delete it you can modify /var/private/mobile/Library/Preferences/iWidgets.plist.
    * back the file up *
    Adjust the x and y. or delete the full <dict><key>name</key> .... </dict>.

Respring after you make any changes to the file. Good luck.

I'm on a 5S and am getting Springboard crashes when using iWidget. It usually happens overnight, but will happen randomly during the day as well. If I remove the Widget, no Springboard crashes. Anyone else experiencing crashes on the 5S? I looked through the forum and can't find anything.

There are several things that can be causing it.. I run 5 or 6 iWidgets on 5S.. no crashing.. Until I add something with animations on my Lockscreen through GroovyLock or some weirdness in biteSMS too. Do you use either biteSMS or GroovyLock?
Here to help if I can. If I can't I know someone who can!

    Nice one

...that means that we can disable the clouds, the wind, the meteors, and stars now in the cfg, or in the widget with a switch ?
These elements brings a tiny lil lag on my i5, and I have tested that after a fresh restore, with only iwidgets installed, when I
turned off these elements the lag is almost not noticeable.

I read somewhere in the UNiAW thread. I mean Ian sayed anything about it, that we can disable all Animations in the cfg,
    with
    Code:
var no_animations = true or false
    or something like that.

I have to disable them in the js file, too? I have touched only the css file.

Some elements - like clouds only appear and are controlled from each weather js they appears in. Cloudy.js, partlycloudy.js, etc.. You'd have to put /* */ comment-out tags around the CreateACloud section of code in each .js in UniAW/Scripts/Weather/iP5.
Here to help if I can. If I can't I know someone who can!

Like NewdestinyX wrote, there are several things that can cause SB crashes. I got a 4S but had also some crashes, until i found out that it was AppLocker. I have CrashReporter installed, but it doesnt show any conflicts, so you got to find out yourself, turn off Mobile Substrate Addons one by one and look what happens, if you got it, share it with us Best is we open an extra thread for that "iWidgets non-compatible Addons" or sth, bcs in this thread never someone will find anything :P

Hi guys. I'm trying to use an iwidget with the nux theme. Specifically the nux widget right side with GPS weather. The widget works with the default setup but when I enter my zip or the yahoo city code that I got from weather.yahoo.com URL, it is just black with the searching for internet symbol. The only thing I can think of is user error entering the codes but I don't see what I'm doing wrong. Any ideas?
