Overall its pretty cool, move to unlock lockscreen, SBsettings like toggles, Card Switcher like Multitasking, Live Clock, Live wallpaper, and new system animations all around. Im liking it so far, I just hate the new icons style
Same here. I just had to put it on one of my phones. I don't mind the icons really. Apple needs a damn quick reply. Sometimes their choices piss me off.

All I kept thinking though was how awesome this will be with a jail break. Do not envy the tweak developers.

Yep. No one will be able to complain that this is a unimpressive upgrade. iOS 7 is simply amazing and groundbreaking. Makes android OS look like a child's toy now.

When the 5S comes out I will not be waiting for a jailbreak. I will buy it immediately and live with iOS 7 stock for the four months before we can jailbreak and will be reasonably content.

The icon style has lost its business/manly look. But that'll be easily remedied after jailbreak. And I understand why they did what they did with the icon style for the 3-D effect with the wallpapers. It's actually a brilliant move on Cook and his team's part. Tim Cook has proved to me he has the "brassies" that it takes to move Apple to the next level. I'm happy for him and for Apple and for my stock and for me as a user :-)

You think we waited for a jailbreak long before… Oh my…

I have iOS 7 running on my iPhone 4. Tiny bit sluggish but still impressive.
Here to help if I can. If I can't I know someone who can!

The 4s isn't too bad. It jitters only slightly at a few points but that's it. Still runs better than ios6 jail broken. I expect these performance issues to be ironed out by release. This is usually the case with betas. Focus on functionality and then refine performance.

Yes never put a new OS on your main daily driver
    Especially a beta 1 lol

Live clock but no live weather icon Apple? Lazy design team for not adding this...hopefully added in final release in Fall

    Great job as always man
Thanks for the iPad rendition too

My sentiments exactly. Running on my 4S. Lags a bit but not bad. Probably worse on a 4. Great on the 5 from all I've heard.
But yeah, once you get over their color scheme outside of apps its very nice.
In app stuff, toggles, UI is pretty slick.

They don't need a live weather icon from their standpoint.
You get it in app, in NC and with Siri.
Plus the new weather app is solid. And thanks apple for the additional info
Gonna be great for the tweak we are playing with once iOS 7 is jailbroken.

I liked the weather app that much I went and did this

Back on iOS 6. Problem with iBooks on iOS 7 iPhone 5 CDMA. Cuts off the last 20 ish pages of books. Revert to iOS 6 sync the same book, and all is fine. Big deal breaker for me. I have 2000+ books in my phone. Try again on beta 2...

Second, after installing osx 10.9 Mavericks on my Air, FaceTime wouldn't work

    These are known issues.

Im digging the new LS man...looks great
Yeah the new weather app is definitely solid and looks like Apple baked some additions from the yahoo weather app available in app store into the new default weather app

I would of liked to seen a live weather icon and temp change without having to jump into NS or app itself..now that would make the app solid
    Similar to Weathericon
Regardless, I'm just hoping beta 1 icons get revamped a little by final release lol
Why do people quote every image just to say thanks?

Getting mixed results from my testers. Works great on iPod4 and iPod5, iPhone5, iPad3, but failing on the iPhone4 and iPad Mini. Still waiting for results for the iPhone4S from my testers.

Strange issue because the same code is running on all devices. Still trying to figure out the bug on the iPhone4.

Still shooting for a Saturday release (even if I cant figure out the iPhone4 bug) because it will work for the majority of newer devices.

I hate to say it but the iPhone 4 might not be compatible for this tweak, but I haven't given up yet on trying to find a solution.

Happens to me too occasionally coming out of a app or game, nothing I can do code wise to fix that.

Simple respring will sort it out again.

Haha I did the same. Then put it in a drawer. Really disappointed in iOS. Hopefully a lot of changes in further betas.

I'm curious as to what is disappointing bro. Besides the icons and some of the UI, I think they made a good effort to add functionality.

It's sad because all Apple had to do was allow cydia to be installed in IOS7, all problems with functionality and personality would be solved. All apple did was essentially fix what wasn't broken. Yeah they added functionality but half assed, wow control center, personally one of the most hated features of iOS7. Would have much rather had a Zephyr/Auxo combo, this would have accomplished everything control center did plus add a layer of functionality to idevices that's unparalleled by stupid gestures like double tapping the home button.

Control centre is a slide up gesture. Is a very good addition to iOS. Zephyr meh Auxo meh. Apple have added great functionality and also taken away the need for many to worry about losing jailbreaks getting into safe mode loops or boot loops etc. Control centre and new multitasking outshine zephyr and Auxo IMO.
