A4 tethered is easier as they use the limerain boot room exploit discovered by geohot. There isn't such a thing for the 4s hence why there wasnt one last time and we went straight from no jb to untethered jailbreak which is probably how it will happen this time unless someone finds a boot room exploit for the a5 chip from now until ios6 come out. As far as anyone knows that hasn't been found as yet

The Scrolling iWidget is fixed now thx to the Big Homie Durben thx bud! I just couldn't stand that the only fix for peeps was to remove the pagewrap and the text would leak Into the next page... Was driven me nuts but D came through for the homie! So the link is updated with the fix and added German translation from the Homie UNLOCKZ.

I thought i would share a simple flip clock without the weather, The creation is Chevey and i only took the weather off it
Download Chevy Simple flip clock.rar from Sendspace.com - send big files the easy way
Hope you like it ?
And could somebody please make another of Chevey's creations into a iWidget and take the wallpaper widget off. Basically i would love to have the Flipclock and date bit of this as a iWidget without the babes or any scrolling wallpaper "just the day date and clock"
Hope somebody can help

Simple CWS with Options
ok, here's a very simple widget with some options for those who wanna learn how to do it!!
as you can see the same widget can be used the times you want and every time you select it this will open the window to change settings!!
names, strings etc... have to be changed in Options.plist depending your code (or the code you're using)
you can use my code (clock, date, weather) BUT don't forget to give me credits it's the only thing i ask for!Last edited by Schnedi; 08-28-2012 at 12:22 PM.

Here is a Black Flipclock GPS iWidget..widget is taken from Faith LS FC black gps..made by schnedi...i just converted it to an iWidget..
it takes just a little concentration and attention to make an iWidget..but it certainly takes a lot of skills and days to make the Actual widget..so all credit goes to Schnedi for this actual LS widget and Eldwin for wonderful tweak(iWidget)...

Wow, Schnedi!!! This is incredible!! This really IS the future of widgets.. And to have all the options that normally would have to be accessed from Config.js IN the options window of the iWidget (unstable) tweak is JUST AWESOME!!!! To have so many choices means so much individuality is possible. Widget designers need to keep thinking of iWidget in their design phase -- and of 'smaller widgets' for maximun placement options on the screen. We still will want SB widgets with backgrounds. So it's a "both and" - and not a "one or the other". But the 'data' part of a widget needs to be ported to iWidget as soon as possible, This tool is the future of modding to be sure. Thanks again ELDWIN!!! for your amazing tool! If you ever posted in your thread - we could thank you again!! But I can't add more than '1' thanks to your first post!! :-)
About the ONLY 'negative' I can find, and this is really stretching admitedly, is that to 'change' any of the options - you have to DELETE the whole instantiation of the iWidget and readd it. There's no way to 're-open' the Options window for an iWidget already on your desktop.. BUT HECK!! I don't even have to go into Config.js if the modder has taken the time to create the options page. I need to study you programming so I can learn to set up the options myself - since I know how to convert for iWidget too.
Keep up the great work, Schendi, Durben, Max and all the rest of your master modders!!! Those of us 'mini-modders' on "tier 2" will keep doing conversions as we have time. And offer them up. I want to convert MamaJaay's Rolling Cube from MJSmash 2.1 to an iWidget with options. That's what I'm working on now.
Where can I get the Weather Forecast only as an iWidget? Has it been posted already?Last edited by NewdestinyX; 08-28-2012 at 01:50 PM.
