The widget hasn't been properly converted and that's why it's covering your icons.
Technically it needs to have the CSS modified to have the widget placed in a top/left position by modifying the widgets positioning elements.
Then the widget.plist should reflect the actual widgets usable dimensions and not to the whole screen size. Otherwise the widgets touch layer will overlap your icons and render them useless.
First try editing the widget.plist and try editing the height to a smaller value. That will shorten the widgets touch layer. You will have to unpin/repin the widget each time to test your results.
If you find the widget is being cut off you will have to edit the widgets CSS and move the body elements to the top/left, then re-edit the widget.plist to modify the widgets actual useable dimensions.Last edited by The.Drifter; 08-26-2012 at 02:51 PM.

This tweak is great, only one safe mod until now. There is a little bug when selecting a widget. If you have more and you should scroll to see all of them, you can't select the last one. And is it possible to make widgets that control the music player, or something like the toggles from SBSettings (for wi-fi, gps, etc.)? Keep up the good work!

and also if you are familiar with css and .plst file.you can do it yourself..its easy...u gota play with the correct size of the layer..and change few positions...Last edited by dark.knight; 08-26-2012 at 08:50 AM.

Just the opposite of the other poster. I'd like Just the forecast as iWidget, Dark, if u get the time. Thanks!
Though iWidgets make placement easier for ANY SB widget - I think they work best when they're only '1 element' at a time. As modders we should break larger widgets down into their individual elements as we're converting to iWidget. So one SB would convert into two or three iWidgets (clock, forecast, current weather, etc). Ya know what I mean? That would maximize the power of iWidget. Most of the conversions so far would only fit one per page.Last edited by NewdestinyX; 08-26-2012 at 11:56 AM.

There are a few that are separate remember majority of us make them for ourselves then share so it tends to be what we like. Im only using iwidget over normal now because no respring and touch function on sb.
If you want more than one on a page get to making some that you like
I'm pretty sure you made that statement before an it was answered already

Nah. You missed the point, Gunny. The point is once they're shared - they're shared. My comment was directed at those of us who can mod (I mod to convert to iWidget too now) would serve the community possibly better if we broke apart the elements of the original SB precisely SO a person can mod 'more' to their liking. The original creators should be free to CREATE NEW stuff. Some of us are 'after the fact guys' who mod - the mods.. LOL!!I don't want to burden the original creators of mods with more work. I'll happily do it and then reshare - like DarkNight is doing..
It's just about options. Noone has to do anything. Only a suggestion. I rarely like ALL the elements of someone's mod. But pieces - yes. Like this is what I'm rockin' today. Two elements of different 'full' SB's broken apart into two separate iWidgets. Movable anywhere.

Now Schnedi -- that's just a direct 'borrow' of the iMatte SB mod.. :-) I like it.. but let's give original creators of that one credit. :-)
Thanks.. Did you make that as an iWidget now -- or just an SB? iMatte was one of my favorites and I still use it.
So are you saying, Gunny, that an iWidget can allow for a 'touch function' within its boundaries like Chevy's touch forecast? That will work within the .plist set boundaries of an iWidget? Then that 'touch location' will move around with the iWidget as you move it? Do we have any touch-based iWidgets released yet?Last edited by NewdestinyX; 08-26-2012 at 01:54 PM.

It's not a direct rip from imatte. If anything whoever made it for imatte ripped it from hundreds of widgets that look like that.
Yeah look through this thread Durben had a touch slideshow and touch forecast and Schnedi posted a touch forecast yesterday. Ive also got a touch widget ready for release
