Hey, looking into it I also started to wonder about a few less used kb layouts...


I tried adding several different European keyboards and couldn't find a version that emulates your circumstance. Could you let me know if there's a language I can add to test, and/or could you check a couple things for me real quick without a CK theme armed? I'm curious about a few instances where there is a "$" key and no corresponding "€" key for me, and I'm guessing in those instances you would have "€" and no "$".


If necessary, open your Safari app and tap in the URL Entry Field to enter a web address, and then hit the "123" key, and then "#+=" to get this layout:









Do you have "€" instead of "$"?




Same thing if you open your Mail app and hit the "compose" pencil icon in the lower left, then hit "123" and check:









and also from there hit the "#+=" key and check:











Once I know for sure, it won't take long at all to get it done.

Thanks for interest! Yes, the issue is in Euro Qwerty keyboard; I use Italian keyboard in particular.
The three keyboards you mentioned are ok, I found the issue i.e. in the SMS body text.

Here is another Color Keyboard revival of the classic MacBook Air theme. I took this on as an individual request to create an updated version, and after brilliant iOS 5 / 4s updating to Color Keyboard by Yoo Seung Kim, PhatBook Air CK turned into an experiment in achieving complete compatibility for all QWERTY users on iOS 5+. Using a total of 108 keyboard images, every possible layout is perfectly themed including all Default/Emoji/Siri setups, all NumberPads, and Siri Dictation.



There are a few different versions to choose from depending on your device and keyboard setup:

I'm interested in iPad porting, but unfortunately I don't have an iPad myself...

I've been trying for a while to find someone willing to take a ton of screenshots on their iPad so I know what images are needed.

If by some miracle you're interested in spending half an hour or so taking a ton of screenshots to help the state of iPad CK HD theming, it would take installing YS Kim's "CK_Tester.app" to make it at least a reasonably easy task...

Really anyone interested in helping in this way to get image based themes happening on the iPad... Hit me at:

Also, I hadn't been able to find any image based iPad CK HD themes so far myself... Anyone specifically know of any already out there? I can't install CK HD without an iPad to even find out what comes with it theme-wise...

Yo Phat, I just updated to 5.1.1 yesterday, and I just noticed that my dictation is no longer themed properly (the dictation symbol appears where it is usually suppressed). Not sure to whom and where else to report this :P

Ahh... Thanks! I hadn't updated (and kinda hoped not to need to), but alas... wherever CK bugs exist... I'll be there! Lol. I'll try to update so I can check it out, but usually anything that stops working with an iOS update requires a CK update...

YS Kim was already looking into some of the existing bugs we had found, and keeps up with iOS updates like a champ anyway, but I'll update to scour for anything else, and let me know if you see any other problems for sure! We'll put together a report if needed.
