    Thanks
Yes. You can do it that way. You can also turn on Summerboard in the Winterboard app and just put all of your icons in a folder named Icons within your theme. Do two icons: one named AppName.png and [email protected].

I wouldn't move icons out of folders. There's really no point. If you're going to add/change icons, then worry about bundles. The easiest way to figure out what the bundle name should be would be by using AppInfo from Cydia. It tells you the bundle and icon names for the apps that you have on your phone.

The status bar images are in UIImages. The names are [email protected], [email protected] and [email protected].

No. Those are the folder names assigned to the app by the iPhone. To figure out the bundle name without AppInfo you'd have to go into the app folder and find the info.plist file. Then in that you'd look for CF Bundle Identifier. That tells you the bundle name.

Oh. And in iFile, go into Settings. Go into File Manager and turn on Application Names. That will show you the apps name for the folder rather than the random letters and numbers.

It's not needed. But it's a lot easier. Rather than going in and out of every folder and info.plist file, you just go from app to app in AppInfo. Much faster.

Oo Oo, Eric - You're intriguing me here. As you know - icons are in many different places on our phone whether they're stock, purchased from App Store or purchased from Cydia or System apps. So all those icons that need themeing are hard to track down. Are you telling me that when I turn on SummerBoard (I've always wondered what that is for) and create an "Icon" folder in the root directory of a given theme - then that theme will look to my icon folder for a given new icon over looking for it elsewhere? How does it keep the naming straight? So many icons are called default.png, etc.. ??

Yep. So, say you found a really cool icon for Cydia. You would have 2 copies of it. One named Cydia.png and one named [email protected]. You would put both of those in the Icons(plural) folder. Respring and you're done. Oh, the names must be EXACTLY how they appear on your Springboard.

I'm not sure what the issue is. Did you have to make a UIImages folder or was there one already? If you had to make it, make sure that UII is all capitals.

No problem. Yeah, I didn't know about that option for a long time. It's such a PITA looking for the app among all of those crazy names.
