I know i've seen this before but what do we need to do to use the icons in Summerboard mode? I've never used it before. TIA

Just make a folder, name it Icons. Put in main theme folder. Inside you label your icons exactly how they show on your springboard. But two copies. One with @2x.png and one without. For instance if it was a mail icon make two copies. One labeled [email protected] and one Mail.png! That's it. Turn SummerBoard mode on. They can be framed regardless of AppStore or not and won't double shadow.

I can only speak from my experience. For me it affects nothing. Or if so not enough to tell. I've heard others say it does but again for me it's all good. I wouldn't use it if it had a negative affect on my device.

As you might see in the screen cap, I renamed the dock so it disappeared but there's still a faint trace of it. How do I get rid of that? Also, Could anyone tell me why the numbers inside my badges aren't vertically centered?

About the dock, did you try rename the SBDockMask too?

For the badges make sure the image file is the right size and also that it's centered. For the dock you need to do more then just remove the image. You actually have to put a transparent file where the background should be. Call it SBDockBG.png
And make another copy of it and name it

Thanks to both of you for responding so quickly. I hadn't thought of renaming the mask file so I tried but that didn't work either.

MamaJaay, I'll try using a transparent dock instead.

As for the badge, I made no adjustments to it...that'ss what it looks like using the direct download from the first post here, which is why I was surprised it was off-center.
