Small bit of help please, do I have to delete anything out of MyLocations when installing new .deb file? I SSH'd the file into the MyLocation folder and then used iFile to install, resprung and nothing..thanks so much in advance for any help!

I'm also having trouble with the new deb file. When opening the MyLocation app it goes to a black screen for like 5-10 seconds and then closes. I've even done this on a fresh restore. I've read that people said to delete the location text file in the "Documents" folder but I can't for the life of even find the documents folder lol. Would there even be a location text file there on a fresh restore? Any help is appreciated.

Use iFile and navigate to /var/mobile/Documents folder and click on blue arrow to the right of Documents

Scroll down and make User and Group is Read, Write and Execute

save and respring/reboot

Getting MyLocation App to work in 5.1.1 using my Fix

NEW DEB No Need to Delete Anything Just install the DEB and everything should Work

1 Download MyLocation.deb
2. Install MyLocation.deb from iFile
3. Respring and Enjoy!!

Thanks for the comeback, in var/mobile there is no documents folder when I look in ifile. Where is the .deb file to be placed? I tried everything and the program opens for like 5 seconds (in black) and then closes.

Download the .deb file to your desktop. Now, you can either SFTP the file or use something like iFunbox, Cyberduck, etc. to get the file onto your phone. Place the file in /var/mobile/Documents. Open iFile. iFile "should" open in /var/mobile, but if not, hit the home button at the bottom of iFile and tap on the Documents folder. Once you're there, tap on the .deb file and choose installer. After the installation completes, try opening the application and turn on sig change.

Another way would be to download the file to your phone using Safari, then follow the same instructions using iFile to install it.

1. Create a new folder called Cydia
2. Inside the new Cydia folder, create a folder called AutoInstall
( make sure you create these folders exactly as you read them here. The names are case-sensitive. )

3.Copy the .deb file into AutoInstall folder
4.Reboot
5.respring your iDevice.

Thanks so much!! I followed directions to the letter, I used WInSCP to create the folders, copied the .deb file into the AutoInstall, rebooted,resprung and nada..did this 3 times. Also noticed the .deb file was not in the AutoInstall file after every attempt.

UPDATE: Props to McNeil & MamaJaay..finally installed!! Thanks again to you both!!

You can also use iFunBox (how I did it)

Just drag/drop the .deb onto "cydia app install", then reboot your device. Voila!

Can someone tell me why many of the widgets lately have been timing out in Dreamweaver? They load and then disappear immediately after load...is it something is my settings, something in the widgets?

If your using gps widgets in dream weaver and havnt got a mylocation.txt in the same folder and the script pointing to that it will originally load but just default stuff it's not loading the actual weather

Ya I have that done, everything populates for about 5 seconds then disappears.

It doesn't happen in all GPS widgets, it first started for me with native weather b2 (b1 was fine) & it seems to be the GPS widgets that have multiple options.

Check to see if they have fade in animation sometimes they fade in and then disappear not sure why I just disable the animation while im working on it

No luck...when I turn off animation it won't even show for that initial few seconds.

They all will show in iFiles web viewer, none will show in dreamweaver or in dreamweavers options to show in chrome, explorer or device central.

I really would like to figure out why it does that...in order for me to modify anything I have to edit in dreamweaver, sync the files I changed to my phone & use it's web viewer.
