Can you write the steps you got it work considering the temporary solution we had before this new method?

Got it to work on iPad 3 5.1.1. Remove the my location app first and now works fine.

Getting MyLocation App to work in 5.1.1 using my Fix

NEW DEB No Need to Delete Anything Just install the DEB and everything should Work

1 Download MyLocation.deb
2. Install MyLocation.deb from iFile
3. Respring and Enjoy!!

2. Using iFile or any other File browser Delete /Applications/MyLocation.app
3. Download MyLocation.deb
4. Install MyLocation.deb from iFile
5. Respring and Enjoy!!

You should note that if people have it installed from Cydia they should uninstall from Cydia. Don't just go and delete the app.

Had to change configurations for the location services to get it to work right?

Also had to delete/rename locationpath.txt if it resides in Documents before mentioned installation as the app would close right away.

after i updated to 5.1.1 i did not install gps weather from cydia, waiting for the updated app.

should i have to download gps weather from cydia first and delete it again to use the new deb or not

Download gps weather from Cydia and don't delete anything. Go to bushes post where it says "New Deb" and it should be a 1.8 mb file. Then once u download it just hit installer in ifile then respring.

Forgot I had your GPS one downloaded. It tried to overwrite it but couldn't. Had to delete in Cydia. After it worked. Thanks.

Same difference really I never leave it on anyway so either way I have to open something to refresh which I'm cool with as it takes about a second
