    I had to increase the time of the page refresh as the default

    <script language="JavaScript">UpdateLocation(); setInterval('UpdateLocation()', 20000 )</script>

    messed up my sun/moon which need 40 seconds to move from left to right and with a 20s refresh it only made it to the middle of the screen.
    I mean 20 sec refresh interval is a bit OTT, the weather does not change in 20 sec - maybe if you live in Tornado Alley.
    I think a weather data refresh every 10 minutes is fine, but GPS refresh should be about every 5 mins or so.
    Correct me if I am wrong but I understand it this way.
    If the GPS location changes then the weather data gets refresh automatically, is there no change in GPS location then the weather gets refreshed at a set interval.
    I think if you want to set GPS refresh and weather page refresh to 20 sec interval you might want to consider to buy yourself a mobile phone as your iPhone will be too busy, running scripts, fetching data, convert the data, displaying animation that there is not much power left to do anything else. And think about those guys that are on a "pay per data" plan.

    Agree on a lot of things .

    With my script above, only location is check every 20s. If no change, weather don't refresh before the interval define in Config.js.
    Think it's too HOT (good value maybe around 1 min i think, if you drive very fast...), but all guys here are crazy...So.. .

    Mine could update every hour really. The only thing I'd want to change is the city and then refresh should it change. I agree with Dacal though, a minute would be fine. So would 5-10 minutes.

    On a more personal note!
    Living in an under-developed country regarding mobile technology I don't get 3G signal, I even don't get EDGE, so refreshing the weather page can take easily over a minute. Having a 20 s refresh cycle, I never see anything else then a black lockscreen.

    No, right in the middle of England.
    Attached is a screenshot of my mobile connection speeds (top 3).
    The bottom one is my crappy broadband on a good day!
    Even though that screenshot is from last year, nothing has changed.

    Cr@p!! Luckily, I live in an area with full 3G signal and fibre optic Intertrons... Still, we're running way behind mainland Europe.

    Here's where I am currently, still shows the county,
    but it shows me the exact lat-long and weather info,
    so I'm currently satisfied with this until I get home tomorrow night.

    Default Style Not Updating
    Hi Folks,

    First off the work being done on here is amazing and something I've been thinking about for over a year now. Always wanted my weather to be tracked by my location and you guys are pulling it off in such precise fashion that I couldn't be more excited.

    OK so this is probably an easy question but I need help. I'm running the Vertical Widget Mod and I'm trying to shift my Temp and Desc details over to the right. I update their "left" coordinate in the Style.Css file, and it looks good on the Wallpaper.html, but when I respring and apply none of the changes take effect on my Spring board. What am I missing?

    Code:
    #temp{

    	position:absolute; top:29px; left:95px; width:320px; height:480px; text-align:left; z-index:90;

    	font: 12px "Helvetica";

    	color: red;

    	text-shadow: black 0px 0px 1px;

    	font-weight: 100;

    	text-transform: uppercase;

    }

    #desc{

    	position:absolute; top:29px; left:135px; width:320px; height:480px; text-align:left; z-index:90;

    	font: 12px "Helvetica";

    	color: white;

    	text-shadow: black 0px 0px 1px;

    	font-weight: 100;

    	text-transform: uppercase;

    }

    Wallpaper.html screenshot (Looks good here):

    Springboard (No Changes!)

    Thanks for any help!

    The slider would default to the users set theme as mine is running EPHD
    That is the only thing that would be different per user.
    Hi, will you share this lockscreen? Thanks

    Do you have some more vertical widget?
    If you have, check what is enabled in winterboard.

    Been busy but on work and a few other things. The GPS one for EPHD and this but not sure what I'm doing with it. It's a power hog. Got a timed BG widget running behind the uniaw

    Battery, smattery..lol. Yeah,. all the fun toys are power hogs. But we love playing with them. Been swamped on the work front too. Good to see you tinkering though, something great always seems to come out of it.
