Hey All! I was hoping I could attach my LS (which uses the Yahoo weather, I think) for GPS and see if someone could PLEASE HELP!!! This is my favorite part of my phone and I haven't been able to get this to work since the GPS blip. I have gone in and installed the new MyLocation App from KOH and installed correctly, but I am not sure what to do next. I don't want to mess anything up, so before I dive in a play with some CODE per some instructions I have read, I would like to ask for someone who is smarter than me to please point me in the right direction of they wouldn't mind!!!

The LS is below and I hope everything is available (as far as files go) for you to take a look. I can't begin to tell you how relieved and happy I will be if I can get this working again!!!

Thank You in advance for helping!!!

Ok Rasputin... I followed all of your steps. And now no location shows up... the city is just blank. It only shows the weather.
But don't worry, because I actually like it like this loool. So in a way, you did help. :P Thanks a lot!

There is an option where you can run a full version or a minimal version. I only mentioned the changes for the full version (Widget_full.html), if you do those change also in the Widget_min.html then you should see the location, if you have selected the minimal version.

Ian, Dacal, Chevy, Durben, and all others. I will be closing down my photobucket at the end of the year as I have found that shared photostreams are much more efficient. I have one for iPhone, one for iPad, and one for desktops (Mac or PC) sized for MacBook Retina but will work with 99.204727362% of desktops/laptops .(feel free to correct this percentage, Grant) Yes you can use shared photostreams on Windows as well. See this link for more info: http://support.apple.com/kb/dl1455

Anyhow, with all that said, you are ALL invited. These streams are my public streams. If you want to join, don't PM me here, as I'm not on here as frequently as I used to be. PLEASE send an email to [email protected]

In your email, please tell me if you want the iPhone, iPad, or desktop stream, or any combination or all three.

Simon, 2k1, Bo, and any other mods: I apologize now, as I will be placing the same post in a few other threads, as there are so many followers of my photobucket library and I want to make sure everyone gets ample notice. I'd greatly appreciate if you would grant me a little leeway regarding multiple posts.

I hope everyone is doing well. I hope your families are well, your friends, your spouses, and anyone you care about in your life. I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you. And you are all welcome to come into the stream. Have an awesome day.

    Happy modding!

2.) php (a very powerful addition to html)
3.) Lighttpd SBSetting Toggle (this gives you a turn on/off switch for lighttpd, as well as a configuration file for lighttpd, no further setup/configuration needed! Works right out of the box).
4.) GPS for web server from MMUS repo (apt.mmus.us) will install the index.html and run.php into the iPhone web server at /var/www.
Install them, open SBSettings, open "Set Windows Toggles" and switch Lighttpd to ON, I have done the same for Location, but don't know if that is needed.
When you close SBSetting it resprings, but reboot as well to make sure lighttpd is running.
Now open Safari (make sure you allow Location Service for Safari!) on the iPhone and enter this url address "http://127.0.0.1/index.html". You get a pop-up window asking if you want to allow "http://127.0.0.1/index.html access to your location", say OK. You should now see the latitude and longitude on the screen. To be on the safe side reload that page (tap that little curly arrow at the right hand side in the address bar).
Now you should have a myLocation.txt file with those coordinates in /var/mobile/Documents.
Select your GPS based lockscreen/widget, respring and enjoy.

    Hint for MyLocation app users:
Turn "Sig. Change" OFF, or myLocation.txt file gets overwritten by MyLocation app.
    Oldie, but goldie!
Installed the GPS web server PLUS from the repo (no SB Setting version), which installed all the others.
Reboot and works on iOS 7.0.6.
