I can look at existing code, compare it to other code and then manipulate certain lines here and there but that's about it. I will certainly read up a little more on your method. Thanks for your time rasputin007 - you are a legend around here!!!
    Thanks for your kind words
OK, I can offer you 2 example to look at the code.
The first one is very simple, just a Lockscreen theme with time, day and date, no GPS, no weather no nothing else. It entirely works on the use of database, see how to make your own winterboard theme Tutorial
The second one is not from me, it is an updated version of WeatherElements by ceibaer. I only suggested to move the setup page from Safari to the "graphical setup" webclip concept. It only required to move one file and edit a Info.plist file. Anyway it uses GPS and database and Yahoo Weather, see [Request/Help] GPS Weather Lockscreen
I have not tested the versions for iPhone 3GS and iPhone 5 as I do not have such iPhones, but I tested the iPhone 4/4S version on 6.1.2 and it works perfect.
I can understand your point that "different" code can be intimidating, but never looked at it this way. I have the same feeling when it involves graphics like psd, overlay and photoshop you might as well tell me 私营部门,覆盖和Photoshop

    EDIT:
Rat, fell into that damm trap again, assuming that what I know about graphical setup is also known by everybody else, sorry!
OK, once you have installed the theme(s) copy them to your computer, well, from the Winterboard folder - that part everybody knows
but you also need the heart of the database and that you will find in /var/mobile/Library/Webclips. Just copy the myo.webclips folder/WeatherElements.webclip folder to your computer as well. Don't worry if you get a message that "Storage" could not be copied, it is a symlink and not important on your computer.
In the MYO case, open the Setup.html with Safari and fill in your settings (all 3 pages, Setup, Wallpaper and Translate -links at bottom where the save button is), then save them each.
Now you can open the LockBackground.html from the MYO theme (best resize the Safari window to fit the wallpaper cos then the time etc are in the right place).
If you want to see the database on your computer, get http://sourceforge.net/projects/sqlitebrowser/, it opens the database file which you can find in CUsers\YOUR USERNAME\AppData\Local\Apple Computer\Safari\Databases\file__0.
The MYO will run fine on the computer as it does not require any GPS or url's or so. However the last wallpaper option to use iOS's wallpaper settings will not work on your computer as you do not have such a path and file.
    Enjoy your playtime

You're the man. I'll just sit back and wait. I'm not good enough with coding and will drive myself crazy trying to fix it.

No yahoo is messing with stuff again. GPS is down this morning.

Turn GPS off and use the WOEID Method until this is resolved

Even if you navigate to weather.yahoo.com this morning... It doesn't ask if you wanna use your current location. Geo location services down. They must have used apple maps and are now lost

But I always keep Sig.Change off and just put Philly's coordinates in the myLocation.txt. Changing to woeid won't change getting info from Yahoo. At least that hasn't been the Yahoo problem in the past. The problem in past has been with all the GetElement XML data getting. That's what's down. So neither woeid nor fixed coordinate GPS will get your weather widgets working.. Right?
Here to help if I can. If I can't I know someone who can!

This is a different issue with yahoo. Usually they mess with the feeds. Today it's the geolocational service. If they can't translate your coordinates, they can't give you a feed. By using woeid, it bypasses the geo services.
Widget-Weather App Now Available! Also with MyLocation Support!
Check out the thread here - Widget-Weather
To install the Widget-Weather app, just go to Cydia and install. This will also remove MyLocation, as it is built in!
Want to protect your JailBreak! Add this repo http://cydia.myrepospace.com/iLEXiNFO/ & Install "iLEX R.A.T."
It will allow you to bring your phone back to a fresh jailbroken state!

NO as I stated... WOEID WORKS just fine. I wouldn't have posted it of I hadn't already confirmed working.

Hi, Yahoo seems to have replaced the free geocode service by a paid one : Yahoo! BOSS Geo Services

My themes : Jade HD, Silex HD, BaSalt HD,ToPaz
All are on Cydia and/or Theme It.

What is the WOEID Method, for those of us who have not heard of it? Is it something I download and install?
