There are lots of other weather widgets that have images. You can pull them out of any other widget, or try google.

to pull them out of other widgets, would I have to go into the CSS file and copy and paste it in the Native 2uinique one?

Usually, there is an images folder. You will have to name them with the same name as the ones that are already in your lockscreen.

i apologize in advance for sounding so dumb but there are 6 images in the original. for example one is named day_clear.png so if i find another image i like and want to use that image in addition to the original, i would name the "additional" one day_clear.png also?!

No, you can't have 2 images named the same...if you name it the same it will overwrite the other one. If you want it in addition then you would have to remove 1 of the other 5 & use the removed name for the new image.

Backup the original 6 images to Dropbox or with a program called iFunBox (free download, search Google), then pick 6 images you want to use & they have to be named the exact same as the original 6 images.

You can do as cuzin says and pull them out, or if you are using iFile, tap on the arrow on the far right side of the image name. This will open a properties window and at the very top, you can rename it. Just add a 1 or something to the end of it. Then put your new image in there and name it exactly as the one you just renamed.

Ahhhh. I think maybe I misunderstood. I want to know if there is a way to keep the original 6 images and ADD more images so instead of just having the original 6 change I would have maybe 10 or however many images I put in there.

Ah, yes that is a different question. It is always possible, but requires either a simple code change or one that is more involved. I'll take a look.

Ok, like I said, it can use more images. The images are based in the weather condition, of which there are 48 total if you consider the way this one is set up, then there are 96 possibilities based on a day and night version.

Ah yes, the not so good news. The image designations have all been reallocated to 3 options clear, dark. And snow. Hence the naming convention in the image folder.

Here's the list:

2 hurricane
3 severe thunderstorms
4 thunderstorms
5 mixed rain and snow
6 mixed rain and sleet
7 mixed snow and sleet

ohh my gosh. this sounds like a difficult task. lol. I live in Hawaii so my weather usually stays pretty consistent. I tried to google some images that I really liked and was in really sharp and good quality but couldnt really come across any..If I do find some, I'll let you know. Thank you for all the help! If your weather doesn't change too much, as I can only suppose in Hawaii, then maybe consider a pure timed slide show widget. I'll check my archives and see what I got. I know there were some that change every hour, maybe that would work better for you.
