About Neurotech Siri:

An animated Siri theme. Built and animated in a 3D modeling program, this theme replaces the Siri microphone/ menu and contains nearly 300 frames of animation, including the Dictate function mic. This is the first theme of its kind!

Also included is my award-winning battery theme, Ultrafuse HD. Special thanks to Megaorange for all his help! This theme installs using WinterBoard, iPhone 4S only (possibly Spire compatible - unverified).

Neurotech Siri can be found on both Cydia and ThemeiT!

Known Issues:

• The Dictate function is not currently compatible with Neurotech ColorKeyboard, however a fix is incoming

• On the Timer screen there is an alpha graphic that's not theming properly - I'll fix/ update this as soon as I figure out why!

hi Jahooba, im having some issues that i noticed after i installed the siri theme. it wont show the dictated texts instead there is a blank space. it also needs for the mic to be pressed in order to continue to send the text. before it would ask and not need any physical confirmation. its also not making phone calls it just says that it will make the phone call but it never leaves the screen. im not saying its the theme thats causing it, but i did notice this problem after i installed it. any advice? its a beautiful theme by the way! ive done the basics to try and fix this but its still doing this.

Have you tried rebooting?

Are you running ColorKeyboard? Do you have the latest version?

Thanks for your response. Yes I did reboot and no I don't have colorkeyboard. Latest version of firmware? Yes I'm on 5.0.1. Or latest version of the theme? I'm not sure.

Deactivate the theme in winterboard, does it still happen?

Then it's not the theme. Try and think back to the last tweak installed and uninstall it. Do that one by one until its fixed.

It's most likely a Siri one but in truth it could be any. Due to the combination of tweaks I have, Zeppelin (a carrier image tweak) messes up my Siri.

Ok, I read your first post very carefully. I think I know what the problem is. I think you're confusing the different functions.

Dicatate and Siri are two entirely different functions. Dictate is for taking notes in your notes app, or speaking out a text message - you'll need to press the confirm button after you're finished speaking in order for the phone to know you're done. To use this feature you press the little microphone on the keyboard.

Siri, on the other hand, is like a Dictation Assistant (or Dic-A$s, teehee), and functions differently. To activate it you hold down the home button for a couple seconds.

Assuming you knew this and that's not the problem, the problem may be with your phone's radio transmission - if Siri doesn't have a signal to the cell tower then she kinda breaks. You have to have good reception, otherwise Siri acts like a head-trauma patient, lol. I ran into something similar with my brother-in-law's Siri function, he's on AT&T, but the area we're in Verizon gets a stronger signal (which explains why my mom's 4S Siri works flawlessly).

I hope that helps narrow it down.

Yea I know the difference. It's when I'm telling Siri what to write for a text. Not in "dictation" mode. But now sometimes it doesn't even reply it just stays circling around. Is there a way of recalibrating Siri? I really don't want to restore. Thanks for helping.

Did the problem only start after you installed the Neurotech Siri theme? And if you uninstall it you still have the problem?

Not sure what the problem could be. Maybe a re-install of WinterBoard?
