Oh Igeriya! Will always be remembered on my springboard for the great eBay icon he produced, amongst others, but agree good to see some old faces about that have made my springboard look almost perfect!

It's actually easy enough to roll your own deb. That will satisfy the WB dependency and Cydia won't ever complain. It'll just pull down Jaku as if WB is actually installed. But you'd still have to manually copy everything over. Which is pretty tedious :/

Edit:

Here you go: pseudo_winterboard_5.1.deb

First remove WB and all it's dependencies. Stuff like pngcrush, mobilesubstrate, killall, preferenceloader, and libhide (I think findutils is installed by default. Cydia should prevent you from removing anything that's installed by default anyway).

Then toss the pseudo-winterboard into the auto install folder (or ssh into your device and install it manually). It won't actually install any files, but for all intents and purposes, the system will think WB 5.1 is installed. Jaku won't try to pull it down again.

NOTE: This is only for advanced users or people who aren't afraid to learn a bit of dpkg/cli. I'm not going to provide tech support to anyone trying this method. The net has all the info out there and then some. Google is your friend



No problem. Those were bugging me too. There were actually a lot of icons I was pretty embarrassed about having in Jaku. It's nice to revisit them and not have them taint my baby

But, is removing MobileSubstrate really necessary? I got lots of tweaks installed that are dependant on that...

Yes, it is indeed very tedious... but Winterboard just destroys my iP4's memory so I had to get rid of it.

Not sure where to upload my homemade icons but I whipped up another Kairosoft icon : the only missing one : Pocket Clothier... I used the graphics made by another user to create this one. Enjoy

To resize icons while mobile I do the following -
Browse to icon in iFile > save to Camera Roll > use Imgupr to host on Imgur > use repo tool to resize > save > back to iFile to replace to icon > delete copyrighted Jaku icon from Imgur

Works a treat.

At home I resize the canvas with PS.

i did that exact thing and it didn't work..must be something wrong on my part :/ i'd use PS but my computer is still broken, i'll just wait until its fixed

Hey, I was wondering if someone awesome here could make icons for Tiny Tower, Sonic Jump, and Temple Run 2? I know TT and TR2 are on the repo, but they're a lil copy-pasty...

There is an option to credit the original artist or whoever inspired the icon.

This is unrelated to Jaku, but I was wondering if someone could help me find a certain status bar. It's transparent, but it has a white look to it, it's not dark, if that makes sense. I've looked high and low with no luck. I wish I had the original image so I had something to show what it looks like, but I can't find that either. Sorry for rambling and going off topic, but the help is much appreciated.

Yeah I agree. Too bad for the first people downloading and setting them up.

Hey MMi Jaku family. What do you guys think of my homescreen? I'm not satisfied with my dock though, going for the all black look. 5 icons might seem too cluttered? Also wish there were black/red phone and SMS icons to match the mail music and settings. Can anyone suggest any? Also can anyone suggest a black UI? I hear boss's goes well...
