well, i haven't shared my setup for a long long long time, so i thought i would now, i know some of my icons are outdated but that just because i think the old ones go better with my setup. BTW will, when i saw the game center icon on your twitter, I wasn't too excited, but it looks amazing on my springboard!
oh, and sorry it's in Hebrew, I didn't have any power to change it in the settings 😝

Jaku will never be made for non-retina devices. The detail of the theme requires a higher resolution.

If you really want it for an iPad mini, then you would have to take the time to resize all the icons yourself. But you will be sadly disappointed by the end result.

And hopefully a jb for it won't be too long a wait, since I plan to upgrade to iPad mini retina when/if it comes out. I understand Lok making a retina theme only. I can only imagine the work that goes into every Jaku icon with how beautiful and detailed they are. That's why I love them so much. Being on the stock iOS once you have Jaku on one of your devices really sucks.

looks very nice, but, I don't know if you noticed, shrinking the icons makes the default shadows looking weird...at list to me.

I'm using Springtomize 2 to shrink the icons and the shadows look fine. Maybe a bug with the Shrink tweak?

That's a bug with the tweak Shrink, I had to realign my shadows properly with photoshop

Not bad. I know it can be done, I had ported some components to my iPad 2 initially as well
but when you compare to a retina screen it just isn't the same.

Waiting anxiously for the official iPad release for my iPad 4.

EDIT: so my post was in response to Skippys post of his iPad 2 with Jaku. Apparently he decided to pul that and post something totally different making my post look way out of place. :/

vShare icon I've been working on. I haven't been able to test it on my phone yet, because I cant seem to get it to theme, but if someone can figure it out let me know please/thanks. I have some other icons that I will be releasing shortly, but I'm going to put together a pack when I'm done making a couple more. Hope you guys enjoy!

I sent the dev of Shrink a PM on Reddit yesterday (figured Twitter's character limit was too annoying) with screenshots of Shrink messing up shadows on my device and the shadows looking fine in Safe Mode, still waiting for a response from him about it.

Hello all! This is a question for lokheed. I noticed that you are implementing some "glossy" features into the themed UI elements, I am also aware that in the jaku ios5 bundle I am able to find the more "matte" style UI images. This is not a complaint nor a critique (I am in no position to critique the best iPhone theme to date), but I hate the glossy effect within apples UI and although I appreciate the artistic creativity, I'm not a fan of the glossy UI implementations. I guess my question/request I would love if you continued developing jaku and improving but would really enjoy a "no-gloss" alternative. Sorry if this seems like I'm demanding you double your workload (not my intention) I just love the feel of the original UI elements and would love to see them developed and improved in addition to the direction you have taken. Thanks for hearing me out, sorry for the long post :-)

Yeah, I know some people don't like the gloss. But Jaku is, and always will be, something that compliments iOS. In that respect, it's either rip out the gloss from everything, or tailor Jaku to it. I chose the latter because I like the iOS UI, in general. Sure some parts don't work for me, but most are actually really nicely done. So the parts that don't work, will get revised. The others will always remain vanilla.

The gloss actually has a functional component: it gets rid of banding. Anyone that's tried to matte the UI has probably found out.
