Go digging through the app folders of the apps you would like the NC and banner icons for and find the smaller icons and their names. Let's use BiteSMS (Cydia app), Mail (Default app) and Checkmark (App Store) as examples. I can't say for sure exactly which size is used where for them all, so I sometimes just re-size Jaku icons to suit all the smaller icons used by the app and name them accordingly.

BiteSMS has a few smaller icons to resize eg "[email protected]" which is 40x40 pixels and "[email protected]" which is 56x56.
You want to get whichever 118x120 icon you're using for BiteSMS and make it square. You can use the icon re-size tool on the repo to make it 114x114 or you can trim the icon's canvas in PS to be square. Then you re-size it to 56x56 and save it as "[email protected]", then re-size to 40x40 and save it as "[email protected]" and drop the smaller icons into a bundle called "com.bitesms" exactly the same way you would with alternate icons. Don't put them in the official Jaku theme on your device or you might lose them in an update. Put the bundle in a new theme with the same folder structure as the official theme.

Repeat for Mail - [email protected] is 58x58, Icon-Small-50.png is 50x50, BulletinBoard-40.png is 40x40 and [email protected] is also 40x40. I doubt you need the icons without @2x but I just do them anyway since with some apps it has been pretty random I've found. I'm sure there is a standard rule to this somewhere, probably defined in each app's Info.plist but I don't know what that standard is. I just know that mine all work. Except Soundcloud. Soundcloud is going to get a punch in the face next time I get a notification if none of the 9 icons I have in it's bundle don't theme the little bugger.

Checkmark is already a square icon, being from the App Store, so it just needs to be re-sized to 58px for [email protected], 57px for Icon.png and 29px for Icon-Small.png. Again I doubt you need all three but it's quicker to re-size them all in PS than it is to play trial and error, respringing the device through Winterboard each time.

Some apps don't even need a re-sized icon, like Instagram. It will be themed in the NC etc just from the main app icon as far as I can tell. William/Lok might be able to explain why (or anyone who has more of a clue than me) but yeah I dunno.

I hope you get it working. And I hope someone else with more knowledge might fill in anything I have missed or have wrong here. Bryan I know you're lurking!

    Something like that
Thank you very much! Very useful your explanation, I'll treasure. LoL

Thanks Jadaki for the gratitude. I do it with great pleasure, although it did feel better coming here when it was more animated. You produce very good icons, show your thankfulness by bothering to hit the thanks, that's contributive. I, on my part, very scarcely make icons, and have yet to fill a JakuRepo request.

Edit : and your English looks perfect to me.

Deceived by the screen resolution of the mini which I was lurking on. Hope I'll pass my exams so that my wife agrees on the Newest iPad.
